Subject: Using Xbox 360 wireless controller with a plug & play kit?

Is it possible to use the plug and play kit with the standard 360 wireless controller for use on Halo: CE PC? I have been through various websites and downloaded several drivers, installing, uninstalling, reinstalling etc.

Can it be done? Has anyone else used their Xbox 360 wireless controller with a plug and play kit on the PC/Laptop?

Apologies if this is in the wrong section!

Yeah. That's right. I don't have a 50 in H3. I never got Onyx in Reach. If a game sucks too much, I won't even bother trying for such trivial "accolades". Besides, I've done way more things that take far more skill and talent than anything that can be done in a video game.

A plug and play kit doesn't send any signals. It just charges the controller. That means that the controller still transmits input via wireless. If you want to use that controller, you'll have to buy a wireless receiver.

You should forget about that crutch, Learn the true way, go with mouse and keyboard man.

But I'm on a laptop meaning it's near impossible! I have no way of getting a mouse any time soon either. Xbox controller was the next best alternative. Thanks doe, guyz!

A 5-button USB mouse will run you about $10 at Wally World. Honestly, that's your best bet.
