"Defiant Reclaimer, he who will shatter the land and break the sky apart..."

Hust watched the Halo Legends series again and a lot of people are puzzled by the episode entitled; 'The Babysitter'. I am aware of a few flaws in the episode but people shouldn't dispute it as canon due to the planets 'architecture'. The human design of the architecture has lead much ambuiguty and confusion. However Frankie clearly specifies that the architectural style was deliberate and important and is to be later explored in the Human universe. Furthermore people automatically assume that the unknown planet MUST be Forerunner, why is this?

What do you guys think? Frankie mentioned on the commentary something along the lines of; 'human inspire architecture or vice versa'. Also the 'unknown' planet is confirmed to be Heian. Could it be a precursor planet?

"Time was your ally human. But now it has abandoned you. The Forerunners....have returned. And this tomb... is now yours". - The Didact

A planet from the Ancient Human empire before they were slaughtered by the 4runners.

All makes sense, legends haters jumped too quickly to conclusion typical single minded guys.

Yeah i was also thinking along those lines. Furthermore the people who claim that the origins is perfect canon when Frankie specifically said Cortana is turning rampant alongside 'imagining' what happened using limited knowledge.

origins is a perfect visual summary of the forerunner war, it didn't happen all on one planet. but it happened like that over the 300 years.

He never said cortana was rampant, he was just saying cortana might be a little off with the looks in order to cover 343i's ass with the future revealing of events.

And the errors in Origins Part II are all concerning events Cortana wasn't actually there for, such as the events surrounding the end of Human Covenant War. As far as we saw, she only knew that Chief and the Arbiter were working together, and saw the Shadow of Intent, makes sense to me that she'd think the Covenant and Humanity had teamed up to stop the Flood, if I were in her shoes I probably would have made a similar assumption.

Allow me to ammend my previous statement: Frankie specifically SUGGESTS that Crotana is entering rampancy; "Frankie: This story is told through Cortana's memories, as she's starting to approach what we suspect might be a stage of rampancy..."
link:http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/Cortana

Furthermore if Cortana has misconstrued the events of the second half of origins then how can her assumptions during the first half be legitimate? She uses her imagination to visualize the events from raw statistical data. This data doesnt neccessarily specify the looks, stances, colours of the Forerunners.

not even saying she is entering but rather approaching, and as i said origins is a visual summary thus not everything is going to be perfect. The second half is perfectly fine it is depicting the events how bungie wanted them to be, example being the ex-campaign map guardian. cortana also starts foreshadowing by talking about secrets and how some should never be reveled..

"Defiant Reclaimer, he who will shatter the land and break the sky apart..."

Firstly you initially said: "...origins is a perfect visual summary of the forerunner war..." Now you're saying its not perfect?
Secondly the second half of origins is not 'perfectly fine' there are several flaws with it, these flaws may damage the validity of Cortana's interpretations of Forerunner-Flood War.

Part 1=perfect
part 2= deleted concepts

Again is a perfect overall summary stick to the story if the images confuse just like everything else in legends.which is why frankie said the forerunners might not look the same as in legends becuase the images are a hundred percent factual.
cortana wasn't there for the war therefore she doesn't know exactly what happened but is making up images base on what she knows.

*Sigh* Never mind i have been trying to say that anyway... and this has gone way off topic. End topic.

I started up the heated debate on whether the SPARTAN-II in the cryo tube near the end of Reach is really Linda.
I created the Moa XING avatar pic.
Also I earned the All Star nameplate with this submission to Week 14 All Stars http://www.bungie.net/images/News/Inline11/bwu_0415/art/likea boss.jpg

Frankie did say Cortana was going into rampancy. That's why the events in the episodes should not be interpred as that's what really happened. Also you see Cortana is kinda glitching up a bit. And she's 7 years old at the time
