LET ME SAY THIS: MODS DOES NOT MEAN CHEATS!
The way HaloPC works, means that most mods don't work unless you are the host, in which case the mod works for everyone. As such it is difficult to cheat.
http://www.halopc.net
This is to let you all know about this great Halo PC modding site. It if very new person friendly, has lots of great tutorials and mods, there are help forums, but most of all, since it is HaloPC rather than Halo in general (like halomods.com), we are specialised with HaloPC and produce some of the greatest mods availiable.
Here is an example of one of the more Legendary mods:
thinkreddie has utilised the power of the HEK, to make a mod which he has converted to PC. The mod is on BloodGulch. Marines spawn at one base, and Covenant at the other. They are scripted to be on teams, and they leave the bases and charge towards each other making a HUGE pitch battle in the centre of the map!
The people are friendly, and since there is no ranking system (apart from moderators and admins), there is no pressure to post. The only way the site is going is UP. we currently have about 450 members, 250 of which are regurlarly active!
The site is about customising this great game to our liking, and sharing those customisations with like minded people.
Although it is not neccessary to register to download mods and tools, it is neccessary to use the forums. I strongly advise that you do join the forum, as you can then gain help adn advice form the rest of the community.
Oh, and of course, it goes without saying that ripping from Halo2, and talking about it, can result in a first time ban, adn not an account ban, an IP range ban.
Finally, I leave you with this quote from the "About halopc.net" Page:

The heart of HaloPC.net is its community forums.
You will need to register to access this core section of the site. This is the place you can ask specific questions or discuss your ideas for making game edits and modifications. In here you can chat with other HPC members. You can view or maybe even test some of their latest works in progress, and access newly submitted tutorials, models and skins before they are made available on the outer site. Members also have access to project rooms, where they can develop their latest creations with other team members.
The forums are where you can submit your own tutorials, skins, models and completed mods for possible inclusion into the Halopc.net archives
