If I got a Myth box, I'd wipe my ass with it. Seriously. Everybody drooling over a game you never played/most likely never will play, all because Bungie said they're rare. If they didn't say anything about it, nobody would be caring as much(except for SK15, he's probably still in the corner of his swag room fapping furiously to all of his crap). It's the real life equivalent of quoting a Bungie employee for no reason. Chubbz, you're doing it wrong. I'm not drooling over the game, I'm drooling over the rarity, the collector-value, and the re-sell value. (Not that I'm going to resell it, it's just cool to have something worth a lot of money)
So STFU.
Suppose I gave you One Thousand Euros. I know you don't live in Europe, and I no it's useless to you (until you go trade it for dollars), but nevertheless, you still have something worth approx. $1500, and it's hard not to get excited for something like that. If you did however, wipe your ass with the 1000 Euros then I'm not sure the bank would want it.
And why are you online? I thought you and your wife were celebrating your anniversary today.
My point is that if Bungie didn't emphasize how rare the item was, you wouldn't see so many people wishing they would get it, considering it's not a game they're familiar with. It's like my Myth 2 print. If Bungie said, 'This is a super rare print, only 5 exist', you'd see everyone in this thread screaming about how it would be so awesome to get one and they hope they get it. Instead, I got something that was most likely one of a kind, and there's no hubbub about it at all, as it should be.
Not to mention the fact that most people are only caring for the rarity of the item and not the item itself just goes to show why people want it.
Also, I'm not online, Tristan is.
