If were to not ever frame the prints, would it be okay to keep them in the shipping tubes they came in?I'd assume so. The tissue paper is acid free as well as the cardboard, and it's dark.
So unless you run over the tube with your car, that would be an awesome way of preserving it.
I only need 2 more frames and then my collection is done.
One is the Ancients, that's a really big poster so they don't carry standard frames in that size and I'd have to custom frame it. With a discount, the custom frame comes out to like $80! so yeah, I decided not to get it.
I did get a custom frame for my Master Chief Concept Art though. Mainly for the UV-protected glass and because they didn't have one in exactly that size. The 16x12 frame came out to about $45.
I also got a smaller frame for the small charity-print cards.
