Heh. Quicktime. You guys are true AppleHeads at heart eh? You would think a subsidiary of MS would use WMV. Oh well, nothing QT Alternative can't handle. You should've posted a link to VideoLAN player or QT Alternative for those that don't want to download the quicktime player. Oh well..
As for the moron who said quicktime owns. No.. Not in a world of DivX, XviD, MPEG-2.....Absolutely not. Not when you have to pay for Pro just to display the video in full screen...
Today I just cropped to wide screen, upconverted to 720p, and de-interlaced a movie of my car. I then took the audio from the movie and mixed it with music into an AC3 stream.. audio from video up front, music on the surround channels, and both on the LFE. I then converted the 8 gigabyte file into a 99 meg high res XviD with Ac3 (dolby digital 5.1) surround sound. All using free programs. Can you do that with QT? No.. Can't even play it back.
