Rage like this is hilarious when you stop and think about the hypocrisy.

You people had two freaking weeks to get the flames. Fourteen days. All you had to do was log in and click the applet on the front page that said "Activate Flames Now!" Took less than thirty seconds.

Iphone users had a couple of extra days tacked on to that.

And the flame giveaway wasn't a secret; it was posted all over the forums, on the front page of Bungie.net, and on Waypoint for an additional two weeks before the giveaway started.

That's a month, people. Four weeks.

And yet so many people claiming to be "true fans," "diehard fans," and "loyal fans" managed to miss it because they didn't bother to even glance at the forum even once during that month.

You didn't even need to pop the disc into your xbox and load up the game.

And Bungie Day! Bungie has always done something for Bungie Day! How is it that all of these "loyal fans" didn't know that? How could they forget Bungie Day if they're so diehard?

You screwed yourself out of the blue flames, people, not Bungie. There was plenty of warning that it was coming, and plenty of time to claim yours; it's not Bungie's fault you "true fans" forgot about Bungie Day and couldn't be bothered to show your faces until days or even weeks later.

The blue fire was Bungie's last Halo gift to the real fans, the ones who actually were here, the ones who do check the site more than once every two or three months. The rest of you, despite your claims, are not as loyal or as diehard as you claim.
