[first off i hope im posting this in the right place][if not sorry]

But im seriously wondering why bungie backed out of halo 4, more or less why they backed out of halo all together, I've looked and the only thing I find when searching is that bungie is saying good bye to halo, we all know halo will never be as awesome without them, no offense to the other people making it, so why now after all this time did bungie decide to back out, and before you all reply

1. I'm not asking to be a smart ---
2. i think bungie should stay with halo it dosent mean they couldn't do their own thing outside of halo.
3. im not looking for what their going to be doing as a answer im looking for why they are leaving.

Bungie you guys have done a great job with halo, its a true shame to see you guys back out of it, however i still look forward to your new games or w/e you do from here on out. good luck.

Battle is the most magnificent competition in which a human being can indulge. It brings out all that is best; it removes all that is base. All men are afraid in battle. The coward is the one who lets his fear overcome his sense of duty. Duty is the essence of manhood.
-George S. Patton

I would love to see them stay with Halo, but they know whats best for themselves. Bungie won't let us down.

My future is certain, I will one day fly away. All because I am saved from the penalty of sin. I know he lives.

I'm ready for them to create there next big thing. just think about how awsome Halo was/is. And now with new technology, more experience, and free from the chains of Micro$oft, imagine what else they will create.

I think that Halo is great, but Bungie is better.

It's like, i love my truck, but I love where it takes me more.

i agree with this, im not against them moving on but halo will always be missing a bit without them. at the same time im a bungie fan not just a halo fan, so i know htye wont let us down. yet im still left to wonder why , also i know microsoft does chain down a bit , but they never by out the people they work with and i respect them for that.

unlike as example dell, dell bought out alien ware and now AW comps espicaly laptops , are no good , i had one from when AW owned itself, I went back to them after dell bought them out. its like dell tried to ruin AW and make themselves look better,

Games I like:,
Half-Minute Hero
MBU
Portal
Halo 3 is the best Halo ever
Maps I like: Turf, Avalanche, Pylon, Sandbox, Breakpoint and many more.

They had to go MS owns Halo.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

No, it is time, it is for our own good.

I don't know if Bungie wants to make another Halo.

I think they want to make something Fresh and new.

Want Coup? Here it is for Chrome.

As much as I like Bungie, I think after Halo they will go downhill, trying to make the next big thing but failing each time. I don't really know a developer to compare them to because most developers stick to their great game.

This is a bold move by Bungie, I hope they are successful but I don't think they will be.

I'm happy with how things are. Bungie gets to make new games, and we still get Halo. Other franchises have gone out less gracefully.

quod te non occidit, te fortiorem faciet

Of course I'd love to see another Halo made by Bungie.
But I'm pretty sure that they won't disappoint us in the future.

in some cases, yes, because halo is never gonna be the same without bungie, but no at the same time, because I'd like to see what bungie has next.

I don't always ban people but when I do I laugh uncontrollably...that's if I was a Forum Ninja.

Truth is a matter of perception.

The Button

I think it's time they moved on and let 343i take over Halo. 343i is a very capable game studio, they'll do great with Halo. Bungie hasn't let me down yet!

343i is no dought more then capable of continuing halo they know what their doing and hopefuly even with bungie gone they'll remember what makes halo , halo. i know this much Bungie has no intention of letting its fans down. This is a bold step for them but it is in very poor timing, i dont mean to dought bungie , but look at the economy right now, and what all the gaming industries are doing.

nintendo Wii U: spit shine of the wii updated graphics, new controler no friend codes just online play. they took a jump and stopped midway

3-DS : a system that uses cinematic camera motions depending on the way you move to look around in a 3d way at the games. but they dropped dead in their tracks didnt link it with wii U and didnt improve memory size.

PS new hand-held: announced at e-3 baisicly spit shine psp , took psp and psp go shoved it into one with slightly larger screen and default memory, however just like psp go if they download becomes corrupt you have to re-buy the game.

xbox: updates for kinect.

everyones aking leaps in the right direction but they keep falling midway through, this is a hard time for bungie to do this and i do really whish them the best with this.
