Multiple terrains. For ex: City or Forerunner. Also, adding A.I.s to the battlefield.

Terrain controle, bot placement and controle, interactable objects (doors ect). All of this is possible and has already been done in other games on consoles, far cry instincs/2, time spliters.

YES! and i also agree with the unsc, and covenant structure that would be awesome

plus would be cool to have sea veichles like landing boats and more aircraft
also ability to change colour of veichles, like falcons or hornets in snow or desert camo :)

placeable A.I.'s aswell, marine squads on custom games would be cool

i would also love to see placeble mountains and more naural scenery, and environment and day/ night control

i' ve always wanted to have a rainy unsc airbase being attacked by covenant at night, for some reason =)

Spawnable AI's eg. Marines, Spartans, Elites Grunts, Flood combat froms.
Armour. Not so you can change helmet in-game but as a scenery-I always wanted to make an armoury with actual armour in it.
Human and Covenant structure-it makes invasion a whole lot more realistic.
Some sort of transport system, ie a trainline or monorail.
PELICANS and other aircraft like longswords (Reach really pissed me. The could've easily put in a pelican as they already made a fully controable one (New Alexandria-flew it!) but couldn't be assed to put it in forge.)
Corpses. It would make epic scenery.
Destroyed vehicles-if i cant fly a pelican i'd at least want to see a crashed one.
Stationary artileery-big Covie fuel rod gun turrets and massive UNSC cannons.
Escalators, and proper lifts.
Ability to change man cannons design-ei the Covenant one, Forerunner one from Tempest and some sort of fan thing or air vent like on Highlands or Condemened.
Zero or low gravity zones like in condemened-only you decide where they are.
PLAIN GLASS-i hate having those edges on it. IT INFURIATES ME!*
And finally with the limits to amount of things placed-ie you can only place 100 biulding blocks-make it like 1000 structure instead. No-one is going to use 100 inclines, not normal people anyway.
*i know i seem strange but expert forgers like me see these small things.

Perception is everything.

What I would like is a full map creator, just like everyone else wants. Control over the terrain and everything. I doubt we're going to get it though.

I'm afraid the engine might not even be capable of it. Microsoft said the engine Halo 4 is running on isn't 100% new, so I'm going to ASSUME that it's using a heavily modified version of Reach's engine. I'm not sure who it was (ferrex maybe?) but I remember someone at Bungie saying the Reach engine wasn't built for mesh manipulation.

I know nothing about engines, so I'm not sure if that's something they could rewrite, or if that's something that's hard-coded, and will be in Halo 4.

Even if the engine is not capable of a full map creator, I'd love to see a separate disk that would install a map creator on our computers, allowing us complete control over the creation of maps. Then we could upload our maps to a website made for them, and then download them to our Xbox's.

It's an idea everyone has thought of, and I doubt it will be in the game, but that's what I want.

Ideal situation would be a full blown map creator that gives you certain thematic empty canvases to work from.

If Forge 3.0 is like the Forge we know, I would like to see the following:

- Able to choose daytime (day/night)
- More custom colors
- Able to choose from different texture patterns on building blocks (instead of just plain grey)
- Place any object on any map, so no more map specific objects
- Interactive objects (trigger/goal objects like buttons which you can link to doors etc, much like how Teleporters work) like usable doors, conveyer belts etc
- Being able to build structures into walls/floors to a given degree (so we can make bunkers etc)

Last but not least, if every future Xbox title is going to incorporate Kinect in an optional way (and thus also H4), I would like Kinect to be used for Forge as well (and in Theater Mode, but not in the main gameplay). Using voice commands and perhaps also motion controls, just like in that Ghost Recon weapon demo, would greatly speed up the creation process and would make everything more smooth (and Forge + Kinect = win)

Most of all Im looking for an entire Forge world to work with. Bungie got me excited as a Pomeranian on ten gallons of coffee when I first saw Forge World. I imagined building a base in the trees by the forerunner tower and have another in the woods toward the edge of the canyon...Alas that isnt possible. Bungie, I love you, but next forge world...ought to be a WORLD...not part of a map. Again <3 you bungie!

I'd love to be able to place like UNSC Frigates and Covenant Cruisers i mean, it would be cool making a human city, being invaded by Covenant ships and snowing at the same time and at night =)

Corpses = AWESOME
Crashed Veichles = AWESOME
boats, islands lakes, terrian = AWESOME

i doubt we will get this though, but i would like to see a a flying map with more jets and stuff

I see. As previously stated, that Reach engine wouldn't run mesh manipulation before but revamped reach engine would mean that they re-wrote the netcode, etc which it would allow complete mash manipulation which would allow us to have full map editor. Also it would arise possibility of having DLCs of armor, campaign, etc.

With that revamped engine, there's high possibility that they would allow more contents and wide variety of options in Forge 3.0, as long they optimize the system to allow it plus better programming layers/codes.

full reach forge world capabilities on every map. it pissed me off so much that i cant forge on powerhouse or any normal map because of the lack of items. ALL items on ALL maps.

Farcry: Instincts: evolution's map maker was less confusing, but then again I haven't used 2's very much.

OT:
Switches
All vehicles and weapons from every game
Moving objects (i.e. selecting a path for an object. Would be able to make moving staircases, giant bosses made of objects, crushers... list goes on)
A proper ForgeBattle gametype with matchmaking support.

Forgot custom zones (like powerups but as a hill).

Pelican and Phantom, scarab, odst drop pods and weapon drop pods, and placeable AI that you can make friend or foe, so you could fight against marines with flood or fight with ODST's and SPARTAN's against flood and covenant
