On June 28th 343 is releasing ANOTHER re issued Halo: The Fall of Reach novel. This is stated to be the definitive edition so perhaps there will be major changes to the overall Battle of Reach.

Odd...I saw this exact version in my local Barnes and Noble a few days ago. Yes, Definitive version.

Honestly, I'm not excited about this at all.

Brains beats brawn get used to it

Fear the Red Comet

Variety is the spice of life.
Long live games.
Death to all fanboys.

I severely doubt there will be any massive changes other than the fixing/adding of more typos and the "definitive" label slapped on the front.

lol, that would be funny if 343i made Halo 5: The Beginning but it would just be another Halo ce remake with Halo 4 "Enviroments"

"Where ere thou hast been, here or in yon world manifest? Canst thou tell what is, or what was, or what is to come? No thing shall last. Yet there are some things that will never change. History is written in blood, yet are battles really lost on the battlefield? Canst thou tell me where thou comest, and where thou goest, and what is, or what was, or what will be? For everything remains, AS IT NEVER WAS."

And I am willing to bet that "hardcore fans" still won't be happy with it.

Maybe the false new editions of TFOR is Microsoft trying to turn bungies fans against them by leaving a gaping hole in the canon???

Someone call Leonard Nimoy!!!!

We should know better, because we are better.

By my count, this is the third re-issue of TFoR. That's two to many.

I am Field Master Avu Med 'Telcam, Servant of the Abiding Truth, and I have many brothers.

A god who creates tools is still a god. It is not for us to impose qualifications upon the divine or presume to guess its intentions.

I read the original TFoR. That's enough for me.

huh?

We wouldn't care if we weren't hardcore fans, and don't get your hopes up all that is going to change are typos.

We are not new to several re-prints of books being issued.
