@Everyone saying the ending to H3 was good:
1) "Like water I ebb and flow; defeat is simply an addition of time, A sentence to a fate I never deserved but you....imposed."
--Gravemind, last level of Halo 3
2) "And so here, at the end of my life
I do once again betray a former
master. The path ahead is fraught
with peril. But I will do all I can
to keep it stable - keep you safe.
I'm not so foolish to think this
will absolve me of my sins. One life
hardly balances billions.
But I would have my masters know
that I have changed.
And you shall be my example."
--Medicant Bias, last level of Halo 3.
3) The entire Legendary ending
4) The entire existence of the Precursors.
5) We have yet to inherit the Forerunners belongings or Mantle.
6) From the Office of Dr. William Arthur Iqbal
7) The ending of The Return
8) Admiral Cole's unknown fate
9) The as of yet unknown existence of the Ancient Human race.
10) The Assembly
11) Iris
All of these things seem to suggest something more is going on behind the scenes then just a power hungery Prophet and a...hungry space zombie.
And all of you are content to sit by and have none of these questions, none of these loose ends, answered? Why else do you think Dr. Iqbal's letter was published in the Evolutions book, yet went completely unnoticed in the glossary section? Why was it left so mysterious?
Or why were (allegedly) human ruins shown in Legends and then later talked about in the aforementioned letter if not to be further expanded upon?
Why is it so many of the Evolutions stories were left ambiguous? The Return, The Impossible Life, and From the Office?
Or, why would Bungie introduce the Assembly? You do know they planned to do Halo 4 before doing Reach? But they didn't want to open doors they couldn't close. So instead, perhaps they gave us one small piece of the puzzel, in order to set us up for a project they knew 343 was working on: Halo 4.
It just seemed obvious to me that 343 was setting us up for something, and that something is Halo 4, the start of what may well be the last trilogy in the Halo series, that will answer all the questions.
