Oh I wasn't saying you were wrong, but rather that 500 is a ridicilously low number of bags for them to produce. I could understand 3,000 or maybe even 1,000; but 500 is ridiculous.
For instance, Microsoft earned $200 million from Halo: Reach on the first day. If you do the math, that comes out to about 3 million copies were sold on the first day.
3,000,000/500=6000
Or about 1 out of every 6,000 of their fans will be getting Swag Bags. Heck, with those odds I'm more likely to win a local lottery than I am to get a swag bag.While I doubt all 3 million would pay the $40+ for the bag, you do have a valid point.
In a way I wish Bungie had produced a little more bags to keep the community happy, but in a way I wish they kept them very limited the way they did.
But the cool thing about making less is that Bungie has more room to fill more bags with more valuable items than if they made thousands of bags. You're right, that is one big plus for those who managed to swag. lets hope the two of use manage to grab one
