Halo 3's flames weren't set up like Halo: Reach's, as part of the Armory. We would have to force them on and players wouldn't be able to switch them off. Ever.
I smell some lies here:
If I remember correctly (and I do) to activate flames in Halo 3 during Bungie Day 2010, you had to change your chest piece to Bungie.
I remember I could switch to other chests, and I remeber I saw some players going flameless too.
So we could choose to wear or not the Bungie chest, as well as you employees do (I remember Shishka used to wear Katana as you can see in this screenshot).
So please, could you say me what changed in one year, so that you can't give flames, and why we can't have Bungie chest, other than the excuse of "being forced to activate it permanently without possibility to switch it off for all players"?
I'm being a little rude here, but please could you explain in detail why can't you give it?
I cannot believe what you said, because you (Bungie) provided us proofs that giving Bungie chest as a normal armor piece is possible.
I'll be grateful if you find some time to answer me (and part of the community as well), to give me and other people an in-depth explanation of the "phenomenon" (which I believe occured between 07/08/10 and now).
Also, if you really read all the post, I would like to point a grammar error in your Bungie Aerospace home. The correct latin phrase would be Per audaciaM ad astra. With the "per" you must use accusative case, not ablative one.
Thanks,

P.S. I'm adressing to urk because he made that statement, but other employees answers are welcome too! Please don't be shy, answer here!
