You know how in the Xbox version of Halo, whenever you pick up a camoflague, the light around you kinda....distorts? Well, in the PC version there's no distortion.

I have a 6600 GT, and if a 5 year old Xbox can do it, a 6600 GT had better be able to. How do I turn it on?

:(

there is one way to do it, but let me tell you now, it's not a great fix...
the main problem is with nvidia's drivers. as of today, nvidia cards do not render halo's invisibility correctly, nor have they ever (except on the xbox itself, for some reason). i like nvidia, so i deal with the difference in invisibility. if you want it to be rendered corectly, you'll need an ATI video card.
now, there is a fix for nvidia cards, which alows you to see the active camo distortion properly. however, it also prevents you from seeing game text (who killed who, what people are talking about, what you are telling others)give me a minute to find the fix..

ok, here's a link to the fix. http://www.redvsblue.net/psimatrix/d3d9.zip
i think a readme is included, but if you have andy questions, feel free to ask.
