Hello, I've always had an interest in game design. Mainly graphics. And I've always wonder what kind of skills/requirements are needed to do so.

Proficient in C/C++, and GPU languages. Strong math skills. Solid software engineering fundamentals. Ability to adapt to new environment quickly and to learn from others. Bachelor's degree or demonstrated equivalent experience. Demonstrated passion for games (via personal, professional, academic or intern projects).

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

I actually own my own Game Designing company, some, like mine are not so picky as too what we are looking for just as long as you know what your doing and can work well with in a team and take criticism very well.
