For Narnia!

How is the shipping for the 20th Anniversary stuff so expensive? The swag bag is understandable, but for the shirt and poster pack it's $34. Why? :/

I be trippin'.

I'm not sure how knowledgeable you foreigners are on American geography, but not only is Bungie located in another country, they are located in the absolute northwest corner of that country.

That doesn't mean they can't provide alternative shipping methods. GiantBomb were able to send out t-shirts to all their international members for only $10 shipping, and I frequently buy products (much larger than t-shirts) from Japan, and that still doesn't come close to the absurd amount they're asking here.

No matter how far away you are from Bungie HQ, you can't possibly claim that $32 to ship a t-shirt is reasonable.

I was able to buy a 10kg Package from Amazon with a shipping cost of $39, a shirt is hardly comparable. Also Threadless does not claim $32 for the shipping of a shirt.

I've seen lots of comments complaining about the shipping and I too am a little disappointed by the $30 shipping cost for a $20 shirt.

I've been thinking about grouping up with some other UK Bungie fans so that we can order our shirts together to a single UK address and then that person can redistribute the shirts.

I worked out that with 20 people the price of a shirt + delivery would be £20 (thats including the secondary postage within the UK by Royal Mail).

I was thinking of setting up a project on Invested.in with 7 rewards (one for each size) which allows each person to order the right size shirt, pay the right amount and give their address. Its sort of like how Kickstarter.com works (but available for the UK, unluke Kickstarter).

Now, the only problem I have is I'm not in the best situation to receive the large delivery.
I'd like to know how many people would be interested in participating and I also need to find a trustworthy person to receive and redeliver all the shirts (right sizes to the right addresses)

I am grateful but when the shipping for a shirt is more than the shirt itself, something is wrong :/

If I could change my username, I would have done it a long time ago, just don't mind the current one.

for all you international people, ShopandShip.com is your friend.

Wakka Wakka Wump!
No I freaking told you to cut the hose off, if i told to pull it off then i would have said pull it off. Now you broke the AC you dumb ass.
Me to my mother.

I've had an entire bike brake system sent from the UK to Aus for $20AUD P/H.

Theres no excuse as to why the shipping for the shirt is double that of the actual product.

My vote is for Bungie to set their own store up (EBAY!).

Yes, it's nice that they're allowing it.. but the postage costs have made it virtually impossible for many people to order anyway. Most online shops provide international shipping as a basic feature, and like I said, don't charge such astronomical prices. It's easy to say "oh, just be grateful" when you're not the one with the problem.

Would you be willing to spend $30 just for the postage on a t-shirt?
