Why did bungie leave halo? They should be making halo 4, 5 and 6 etc. I have never known why they are leaving, anyone know?

Furious George: The new -blam!-

They want to try something new, maybe?

PEANUT-BUTTER SLAP!

What's there to agree with? It's a fact. They're leaving because they don't want to be tied to one series or console anymore.

I suspect llamas are secretly wizards. I <3 poptarts n' milk. I like me. Grimick is defined as: a logical parodox, the act of funnaling a potato down your throat, and a deliciously flavored muffin (with pecons and blueberries). Norway is the Swedish word for 'moron'. My sister has cancer, so i get to use handicap parking and cut small children in line at Disneyland.

They don't own the halo franchise, and will make a lot more money doing their own thing, plus then they don't have to follow microsoft's rules. Besides, i'll bet it's refreshing for them to be doing something new and different.

I understand nothing because my life is a conspiracy.

10 years, 5 games. They didn't want to drag it out like CoD. I think it is good they are trying something new.

Hello Bungie members my name is MG Dude1000 or Blake for short. I'm 14 years old but I'm not telling you where actually I live, my mobile number and what school am I now. I don't want stalkers around my house. I play halo reach alot I'm in a high rank as you can see on the my service record. My favourite teamed gametype in Matchmaking is Big Team Battle (BTB). Remember when playing teamed gametypes TEAMWORK as typed in capital letters is the key to success.

I heard that Bungies quit because they don't want to make anymore halos like Halo 4 but a different company 343 Industrys is taking over making Halo 4. But one of my friends say that maybe Bungie is creating an another company. I don't know if thats true or not. I'll feel disappointed and sad when they leave the game making company. They were the best game makers ever. :(

I doubt that, they are a game making company, maybe a looooong time from now. But i think not for a while. And why would bungie make another company? They already are a company. Maybe a new branch though, that sounds more logical.

What do you mean by don't follow Microsoft's rules?

  • 06.26.2011 11:49 PM PDT

Yes, there're too many numbers in my name.

I agree with it because Bungie agrees with it, and they know how to operate a company.

They had to stop making Halo at some time.

READ IT.

I won the Star. With this on Week 18.

Bungie got sick of doing the same thing over and over.

Relax. I'd rather not piss this thing off.

Bungie is seeking more ways than Halo.

What are we supposed to be discussing here?

"Nothing in the 'Verse can stop me."

Kids these days. Would you want to do the same thing for another 10 years? Bungie wants to move on to another universe. They've told the story they wanted to. Is that not enough?

Yes. We get a new Bungie title. We get a new Halo. A win-win, don't you think?

Some yes but not many...
But 343i will stick to the Halo storyline because one of thier employees is Frank O' Connor (former Bungie) and he is the holder of the halo bible!

Actually, I find that I'm more invincible without pants, which is why I am not wearing any at the moment.

Yes. Its time for them to move on. Its been ten years.

Guys, Halo will NOT get dragged out like CoD!
Why?
The story for every CoD game is written on the spot and the CoD games have nothing to do with each other (besides MW1,2,3) so their is no storyline to follow...
Halo's storyline has already been written, by REAL authors, and each game feeds off another. Halo's storyline is much better writen then CoD's. Imagine reading a CoD book, BORING!

Well, by your logic, Bungie could still be making the very successful Marathon series today, but then you never would have gotten a gem like Halo.

You'll probably be thinking the same thing when their next game comes out. "I'm glad they didn't make another Halo and created this great new series for me to play".

You have even less reason to complain, considering Halo is still going on.
