Hey guys.
I recently bought the Master Chief firefight voice in Reach and I kept noticing something. Occasionally while playing firefight the Chief would make a grunting noise when he jumped or something of that nature. He also would randomly cough and hack through some of the battles.
Theoretically he's around his late 30's (correct me if I'm wrong) around the events of Halo 3. This means he will be even older in Halo 4. I was just thinking why Bungie had added those little grunts and coughs in the firefight voice.
Maybe they were hinting at something for the next game? Some of the Bungie members did go to 343i, so they would know about it.
Anyway this is just something I noticed. It could easily mean nothing. Comment or speculate.
Reach is a prequel, so it's impossible for Chief to be "older" in Reach's firefight since its set in Reach's timeline. They just added more noises to him, because, you know, you paid 200,000 Cr for his voice - you should at least hear him.
Oh and Chief was around 42 in Halo: CE, but due to the time he spent in cryo (you don't age in cryo), he's more like 30
