<------Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, Halo: Reach, and Halo 4 emblem.
Halo CEA is a great idea; it lets us set foot back in our favorite Halo campaign with an updated look. But as for the multiplayer (based on what we know so far), it is going to be 7 maps on the Reach engine, 2 player online co-op, and presumably 2 player offline co-op.
Obviously, there is a huge component missing from this equation: Halo 1's original and amazing multiplayer. 343i has already said that they had to make a compromise between the old multiplayer and Reach's, and I think they made the right decision.
However, I ask for something more. I think that all of the original Halo 1 multiplayer maps should be on disc with updated textures and resolutions just like the campaign. This multiplayer component would only be limited to system link and splitscreen (16 and 4 players max, respectively). All though my knowledge on converting textures is limited, I'm pretty sure that Halo 1's maps share many textures with the campaign, and thus those maps could easily be metamorphosed to look like the campaign. This way, we have 7 remade maps on Reach to play online, but we also have the original multiplayer from the old game updated similarly to the campaign. This original multiplayer component would lack online play however.
TLDR: Add Halo 1's multiplayer portion with updated graphics because many textures of these maps are shared with the campaign but limit this to offline play.
