Subject: helpful tips so you can get a Swag sack.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

I know many people want a swag Sack and with around 150 sacks left and thousands of fans wanting them, it will be quick. Much faster than the previous swag bag sale due to knowing when the sacks will be on sale and an estimated time.

I got a swag sack and I have a few recommendations to help you stay ahead.

1. The swag sacks went on sale on Bungie.net at 9:42 AM PSTon the 23rd.I suggest making sure you stay in Bungie.net at least at 9:00 PST Thursday to get ready.

2. here is a link to the Amazon sales page.. I recommend adding the swag sack on your wish list.

3. F5, F5, F5. Getting or losing the swag bag can be over in a heartbeat so make sure you keep refreshing Thursday after 9:00 PST.

4. BUY ASAP, DO NOT LEAVE IT IN YOUR CART. I recommend going to amazon now, making an account, and already have a valid credit card & address linked so you can finish the buying process fast.

I hope these tips help people quickly get a swag sack.

Please discuss and thank you.

What is the point of putting the item on a wish list? It doesn't notify you if the item is in stock does it?

  • 06.28.2011 8:22 AM PDT

sounds like a good idea, the only problem i have is getting to it fastest, what i do now is i have a window saved open on bungiestore and i just refresh that. Is there another page i could go to that would be faster or is the bungie store the best way?

Everything is interesting if you go into it deeply enough.

It's a good guide, but there are other ways.

1. Grab swag.

2. Fly far away.

Good luck, everyone.

It should notify you if it is on the wishlist.

And, anything really helps.

This time the swag bags are going to sell much faster so being prepared is important.

Never knew that since I never used a wish list before lol. So how does it notify you? Does it send a notification to your email or something?

I think it sends you an email.

I haven't personally used Amazons but generally wish lists will notify the user when the product comes back in stock.

Hopefully Amazon's will do the same.

I thought it might help and it might be good to also watch the Amazon page.

I am hoping to help people get an edge to buy their swag sacks very fast.

One common misconception that got many people was that if you leave the swag sack in your cart, it is yours.

It is not and I recommend completing the buying process very quickly.

How fast did the bags sell again? How many bags were there?

I think like less than an hour, I have heard some people say 15 minutes.

And, that was for 350 bags.

There are more people aware with 150 renaming bags (numbers that have been estimated).

So, it is a waiting game and not everyone will end up with a swag sack.

I want her...

Where are people getting this 150 number from?

Some Amazon savy people asked to buy 500 bags and it said 150 bags remaining then Bungie ended it.

So, 150+ is the estimate many people believe.

The bags sold out in 1:15 minutes. I would guess with the stir that this has caused that the next batch will sell out within 5-10 minutes.

Hmm I'd still be somewhat skeptical of that figure

It's kind of been touched on, but I would recommend putting anything else you're wanting to buy in your cart ready. So if you want a Tee, a poster and a swag bag, have the poster and the tee in your bag before 9am PST.

There is a plug-in for Firefox that lets you set the page to automatically refresh every x Seconds, this will prevent your F5 key from wearing out.

The first sale lasted an hour and fifteen minutes, but obviously not everyone was aware they would be going up, a couple of hundred had their suspicions, but no-one knew for sure. Nor did they know the price, or that there would be international shipping. Now all those questions have been answered.

I honestly expect them to sell out in under a minute this time.

People have been making threads whining about people buying several bags in the first round of sales. I genuinely think that people were buying those bags for themselves and not for ebay profiteering. This time around people are well aware there is a big demand for the bags so I wouldn't be surprised to see people buying a chunk of them to put on ebay.

They say that kiddie's got soul

InBonniesKitchen

good tips! I already hooked my credit card/gift card to my account so I can get in and out.

I do feel bad though, because if I had more money I would buy about 2 or 3 more bags and give them away for free to people who deserved them. Have a contest or something.

I agree, now that we have a date and a good idea when they will be up, getting the swag sacks this time will be a challenge.
