Did you knew that JESUSdied for you?
I agree that that replies should be more controlled as well as the topics. Mods are doing a great work but I feel this is getting out hand.

I agree. I think the issue is that posters are far more likely to get banned for a topic than a reply, so while some people think before making a troll topic, there's basically nothing stopping them from trolling an already made topic.
For example, go to the flood and make a thread about a girl. I can guarantee you will get replies like "kick her in the balls," "stick it in her pooper," "the flood is not your journal," etc. However, nothing is done about this. I know the Ninjas cant catch everything, but i've heard of anyone being banned or warned for that behavior. And the fact that it happens every time seems to indicate that there is no danger of being banned for doing it.
Same goes for many other threads. You can make a thread in any Halo forum about the BR. If it's praising the weapon you'll be called an MLG try hard. If it's against the weapon you'll be called a Burger King. And, at least from what i've seen, it's far more comon for the thread to be locked because it became a flame war, even though there was nothing wrong with the thread itself.
Again i know the Moderators can't catch every infraction, but it's so common that it seems like they wouldn't punish the trolls even if they did. It seems like they tend to go for a temporary solution and lock the thread to end the trolling there, but the actual trolls themselves are rarely banned and it easily continues.
I mean no disrespect towards the Mods here, and i'm not saying they do a bad job, but i believe if they were to crack down on troll replies more than they do now there would, at least to some degree, be a drop in replies like "tl;dr" or "cOLD."
I am a mythic member like you and bungie.net wasn't my first forum. This problem being old doesn't mean it's right. This shouldn't be a bad 4chan clone.
