Don't scream, it will only make me laugh.
Um... Yeah.
I understand the Forerunner-Precursor War, in fact it seems likely, as well as possible without contradicting previous cannon. The Flood coming back, understood, but when did the Flood start infecting systems again? Why did no Forerunner know about it? That seems IMPOSSIBLE.
Almost none, to my record, of the content in the H3 Terminals were referenced or mentioned. Therefore, I am extremely confused as to the timeline of what is happening in this book.
At the end, the Librarian tells Bornstellar that he is Didact. Immediately after, Born/Didact thinks in patters exactly as Didact would WITHOUT Bornstellar. So then, was Bornstellar "overwritten" by Didact and is now Didact in Bornstellar's body? Or is Didact dead, and it turns out that the Didact in the H3 Terminals is simply Bornstellar acting as the new Didact, using Didacts memories and imprint?
Oh, and i thought that it was the Gravemind that corrupted MB, but according to this book it was the Precursor Prisoner. So which is it?
Speaking of the Prisoner, where the hell is it? Im asking both about the time of the book, and about the time post H3.
Thanks for any light that can be shed on this colored or otherwise...
Loved the book... until the last chapter. Was so confused, I cant wait for the next two, and by the Mantle, DONT SCREW IT UP 343!
