First off: No.
Now let me pick your post apart.
First of all, they confirm that Reach and Halo CEA will run entirely independent of each other.
And yet Halo CEA's multiplayer has been confirmed to run in Reach's engine.
They are independent. Halo CEA has it's on engine. The multiplayer is barely a part of Halo CEA, it's more like a map pack for Halo Reach, like ODST.
Also, Halo CEA has been pretty much confirmed to NOT feature blood gulch! You know why? OH BECAUSE REACH ALREADY HAS BLOOD GULCH IN IT. THAT'S SO SMART. I MEAN THAT WOULD BE SO SMART IF HALO CEA AND REACH DIDN'T RUN INDEPENDENT OF EACH OTHER.
You pretty much invalidated your own complaint. Also, caps lock is for terrible people.
Oh, did I mention 343 confirmed that Halo CEA's campaign will be absolutely exactly the SAME as the original? Now, hold on a second. That's a good thing. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, right? Especially the graphics. You have the option to play the game with the same exact graphics from Halo CE! And I'm assuming that people will be able to do this quite often since judging by the trailer, the new Reach-ish graphics will have terrible frame rate issues. Oh you know why? YEAH BECAUSE 343 ISN'T EVEN GOING TO BOTHER OPTIMIZE THE 10 YEAR OLD ORIGINAL XBOX GAME ENGINE TO SUPPORT HD GRAPHICS HOW SMART OF THEM.
Proof of this? They would have had to optimize it. All it is is an overlay, if there were noticeable framerate issues (which judging from the footage, there isn't), they'll work them out. They'd be idiots to screw this up being their first release. The only issue is it would take a few seconds to make the transition between the updated engine and the old one, which they have already admitted, which is understandable anyways.
Now, I could be wrong. But bookmark this thread or something, because I garuntee that when Halo CEA comes out, Halo fans are going to complain about all the crap 343 is putting out with Halo CEA.
Let me get right on that.
As for Halo 4, I'm worried for that too. Judging SOLELY from the trailer, I'm going to speculate that you have the option to attach things to your guns, like grenade launchers. OH YOU ARE SO ORIGINAL 343 ATTACH GRENADE LAUNCHERS TO THE GUNS YOU ARE SO CREATIVE AND SMART 343.
Ok. You're making a judgement on an entire game solely on a max 2 minute CGI teaser. Invalidated.
Urk. I smell trouble with 343. I don't hate 343, and I definitely could be wrong with much of this. I think they're just tripping up a bit early. It also might have something to do with them filling in the Bungie-sized shoes to make a Halo game, I don't know.
Exactly, you don't know because they haven't released either Halo CEA or Halo 4 yet. Why don't you wait till then to have an actual basis for your arguments.
