In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

Wow, it is amazing to see how far Bungie has come along.

only eat one small snack a week to save money on food and just have water toilet and lights to save money thats my plan

Though the Earth is dying we must enrich her body, for the ground we tread is hφly.

I'm a lion in a world where everybody's content with being cats.

Yes, it's extraordinary how they've grown, but it's not like they went from virtual unknown to triple-A with just Halo. In 1996 they were already a successful developer with well-received titles under their belt (e.g., Pathways, Marathon). Of course that was nothing compared to nowadays. It's also worth mentioning that at this time video games were just starting to gain ground as an autonomous industry.

Cool video :o)

Jason Jones has always been camera shy, you can see him try to block himself off.

When I grow up, I want to be just like goofenhour.

Yeah, Bungie sure has come a long way since 1996. For tens of employees and making games on the Mac, who would of thought where they are today from back then.

I have a whole thread (can be seen here) dedicated to video's just like this one, if anyone wants to check out any other vids.

"That's about all that can be said for plots, which anyway are just one thing after another, a what and a what and a what.

Now try how and why."

Which lead me to this gem.

Jason Jones seems like such a cool guy.
