If I wanted to stage a lengthy rebuttal of halo as a Christian allegory, being two to five times the length of said post, and containing numerous references to scripture regarding covenants, where would it go? Would it be proper to place it in the bungie universe forum in several posts, or if I took that course of action would it be rejected, and I banned for posting a substantive dialogue in Bungle's forums?

I would say don't post it at all.

I honestly wish to understand how it is possible that a member of this website was allowed to post a thread in the bungie universe about how terms in the Halo trilogy correspond to terms in the Bible, while it is a clear violation of the rules.

Talking about events that happened during the period of time in the Bible doesn't always have to be a religious discussion. Teachers in public schools can have a class devoted to the events that happened in the Bible without dragging religion into it.

I never saw the thread you are speaking of in the Universe forum because I hardly ever visit there. But my above statement is my best guess as to why "a member of this website was allowed to post a thread in the bungie universe about how terms in the Halo trilogy correspond to terms in the Bible".

I suppose it depends upon the interpretation of the meaning of the post by the moderators.

In the case of that thread I suppose it is allowed due to it not really being a discussion about religion, merely a relation of Halo to Christianity.

The entire Bible is events. If the Bible is not religious, then what is?

Whenever certain parts of the internet wish to tout the "deepness" of halo's story line, they call on this

If I were to show how that the relation of halo to Christianity is in name only and inverted from its source, would that constitute "a discussion of religion"?
