Do I think they'll spend a couple million dollars on an ad campaign? Yes. Here's why. TV commercials for 5 gum after production, paying everyone involved, and paying for airtime, cost well over a few million dollars. (2million for 30 seconds of air time during superbowl). to spend a million or two on an internet video and a few print ads, maybe a few hundred on the iceflys, and led are like 10cents each - plus they are only atached to paer. yes, a few million sounds about right, but it's a hell of a lot less compared to what it takes to produce a 30 second commercial and have it run 100 times on 10 TV channels!!!
Problem with that is, although the internet maybe a larger base of people to get their attention, this marketing ploy isn't going to gather that many people. Look at the twitter, its got 960 followers. I'll even give you the benefit of the doubt and say its got the attention of 10,000 people. Thats 10,000 people that potentially will buy the new pack of gum when it comes out. A pack of gum is what, $1.50? So 15,000 dollars made. Thats -985,000. Where as millions of people are watching potentially billions of hours of television. Its well worth it to put your money into television than it is a silly little ARG.
Now lets factor that into a game. A game is 60 dollars a pop and limited edition 80. So in total going off the previous 10,000. 600,000 to 800,000. Much less deficit than before. It would make MORE sense for it to be a game. Not saying your wrong, no one honestly knows at this point.

5Gum add with Icefly in bottom left
/thread
We've known that for at least a couple of days now. It contains a code to redeem on the testsubjectsneeded.com Which is why its most likely they are the major sponsor, if it isn't for gum that is.

Then I came back to this forum to see you calling people stupid for believing that Bungie/343i/Halo 4 doesn't have something to do with it.
Arrogance yo. Remember this 'cause when you get proven wrong it's gonna be hilarious.
You know the same thing was said about a Halo CE remake. A lot of doubters and disbelievers, then E3 happened.
The fact that fliers were handed out at MICROSOFT'S press conference during E3 leads me to a game. It may not be Halo CEA or 4, but it my eyes its definitely a game.
