My friend has the new xbox 360 black console WITH a 250 gb hard drive. He still cant play the Halo Reach campaign even though that problem usually only occurs with the 4gb hard drive. He also cant play firefight.

Your Ass is Grass and I'm the Lawnmower.

I have the same Xbox and It works fine. Your friend got cheated by getting a -blam!-ty Xbox or something...

But there's no sense crying over every mistake.
You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.
And the Science gets done.
And you make a neat gun.
For the people who are still alive.

Why can't he play it..?

well if theres not enough space for it that would probably be the only common problem

My Xbox 360 S with 250GB workd just fine, maybe your friends HDD is full, or it is faulty.

Has he checked to see if there is as HDD inside?

Play the Game.

I have the same hard-drive and console and it works fine.
Maybe the hard-drive isn't inserted properly.

...Selling the A-bomb perfume. Whatever that means.

Have you tried playing the same exact disc on a different console? It could have nothing to do with the console, and actually be the disc that is defective (scratched or circle burn?) and needs replacing. If not, contact M$ (1-800-4MY-XBOX) and they can replace the box if it's still under warranty.

New 360's still don't have disc bumpers or whatever they are. Laser Burn is still an issue unfortunately.
Eject your disc when moving your box like always :/
