Disappointing?! This is incredible news. Way to go Bungie. Support those who may not be able to launch their own ideas without help. I'm very impressed.

  • 06.30.2011 5:11 AM PDT

HACK THE PLANET!

The press package contains a bunch of Bungie's trademarks, suck as logos, 20th anniversary logos, Ai files, etc.

  • 06.30.2011 5:12 AM PDT

What does Bungie Aerospace mean for us, the community?

  • 06.30.2011 5:12 AM PDT

Pretty disappointing.

  • 06.30.2011 5:12 AM PDT

Steam ID=CapnSatan

Wow,that's incredibly disappointing.

So i guess we know even less about their new game.

What does Bungie Aerospace mean for us, the community?

It means, bungie will be helping amateur game developers to make their dreams come true.
In turn, allowing the community, to one day play these games, which we may never have been able to do, without the support of Bungie.
Nuff said.

HACK THE PLANET!

It is a neat idea, and at the same time I was hoping for a new project announcement.

Didn't they specifically say they're going completely dark on their projects until the future? I was fairly confident they wouldn't release details on their next project only a week or two after "going dark"

Edit: lol TriForce. I've been f5'n since 7 EST today.

Gamers Anon

Achronos: And what's this about a "design team" I've been hearing? Apparently stosh is so awesome he's now considered a "team".

Here I was thinking Bungie Aerospace would be like this.

Still cool none the less.

They are coming up 10 PDT, why even try?

Brains beats brawn get used to it

Fear the Red Comet

Variety is the spice of life.
Long live games.
Death to all fanboys.

Ah....this makes the news of those independent game makers having a steampunk photo shoot at Bungie studios make much more sense... I'm guessing they're among the first devs to work with Bungie and have Aerospace assist in their game's launch.

  • 06.30.2011 5:21 AM PDT

So, it's not a game...

I feel this unbearable urge to say "I told you so."

But I won't.

  • 06.30.2011 5:22 AM PDT

Well, that was very disappointing. Kudos to Bungie for helping the indie game companies though.

ETA is 10pdt.

Who says that they can't do it early, or late.

Or use a distraction and release them now.

Besides; The tweet didn't say 'Bags coming at 10' they just said, 'More swag at 10'.

That could mean anything.

DDOS'd Amazon's servers F5ing for Swag Bags...yeah I was there. :)

7-7-11 was another awesome Bungie Day! Thanks Bungie for making halo so amazing over the last 10 years. Can't wait to see what your Destiny will be next. ;)

Totally not what I was expecting/hoping for...but still awesome news none-the-less.

I hope to somehow get involved in Bungie Aerospace soon anyways, so its still good news for me.

  • 06.30.2011 5:23 AM PDT

Quick as a razor, sharp as a bullet.

Fantastic news. Well done to Bungie for committing this to the creative community and bringing something so unique to the table. Can't wait to see where this goes.

Also, guess we know what Crimson is now. The first part of the title for CA's XBLA dungeon-crawl- I'll shut up now.

  • 06.30.2011 5:24 AM PDT

Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few.

This is an awesome idea.

Fascinating!

This. I'm glad I have an iPhone, as that seems to be what Bungie likes developing mobile games/applications for.
