Whenever i try to play halo multiplayer on the internet it always says there is an available update and when i try to install it, it downloads it, says its updating and just closes without rebooting the game. I have tried to use the manual update and it just says that it cannot be updated because the authenticity(sp?) signature code or somthing is invalid. Could somebody please help me?

Whatever, just try reinstalling Halo, and getting the auto-update right away. If that doesn't work come back. But I'm almost sure that'll fix your problem.

jman571: that'll fix a lot of problems :/

Try downloading the 1.07 patch from Microsoft.com and installing it manually. There is a problem with the autoloader with some video cards

whenever i try to install it manually it always goes from downloading update->installing update->updating game, then the black console menu pops up for like a milisecond and then everything exits. it dosent go to the restarting menu like on my friends comp. Oh, and i have a PNY geforce fx 5500 PCI card with the latest drivers.
