King of the Dark

- The Halo: Reach ending credits contain a sci-fi sounding goodbye from Bungie to fans: See you starside.

You they are part of Mission Icefly !

Destiny Awaits.

Staff Sergeant future 510, serial number HHT3-09PL, Flood Military Reserve.

I have no idea what to make of it.

Very interesting read.

It's interesting to think of the level of preparation behind this project, and how Bungie have dropped hundreds of miniscule hints about Destiny - many of these we overlooked, but now we're looking at them for the source of information.

I can't wait for what the future holds, and to finally see Bungie's next big action universe.

And I am right, AT THIS MOMENT [of this post], watching Stargate Universe. You know, the sci-fi show with with the hundred million plus year old spaceship designated Destiny?

Bungie partnering up with MGM and making a space warfare game based on SGU? A way to continue the series?

I think the multiple copyright claims and different t-shirts associated with those "titles" may be the names of organizations or factions within their supposed FPS/MMO type game, Destiny.

From Cyro to Meta

Oh very interesting...

  • 07.01.2011 2:12 PM PDT

I read it all.
Very interesting...
What do you have up your sleeve Bungie?
Also this website domain that was registered:
PlayDestiny.com
Makes me think of an MMO game website. Otherwise the 'play' portion would be irrelevant. I do believe they mentioned a leek about an MMO/FPS style game in the article.
Plus the title 'Destiny' defiantly seems like a name or an MMORPG.

I'm glad you all liked it, thanks for the feedback!

He should have wrote it up after finding out about Aerospace.

I didn't start writing it up until yesterday, so I already knew about Aerospace. Not sure what you mean by your post, since Bungie Aerospace is completely separate and currently has no visible impact on Destiny.

Just don't be an MMO, please.

maybe this was decided ages ago since myth, halo have connections so there must be a connection with destiny. Maybe they are hidden in reach and halo 3

"The object of war is not die for your counrty but to make the other bastard die for his."

Alrighty...I am beginning to think that this is part of Bungie's new IP...
Obviously, if there is a post with Bungie explicitly stating they aren't involved then it gets a little less believable. All I've seen thus far is a post with a mod stating that Bungie said they weren't involved, but I haven't seen Bungie say it themselves yet.

And here's why I think that Bungie is involved...
Take the Jump

As always...5gum IS involved, they are riding on the success of Bungie and using it to promote their own product...Bungie is doing this to help drum up interest in their new universe; I would expect that right now the relationship to one game is minimal, but the relationship to the IP in general is quite large.

Posted in the other thread; but also posted here for those of you that haven't seen the possible ARG yet...
Icefly

Search around; that's not the most up-to-date ARG page, but they always change...so that IS a main page to get you started...we shall see if they are related, but I'm beginning to think yes...
