Well, I would...but it seems like you have to download that video. And from that website, it looks a little shady. Maybe it's the pr0n-like ads that cover the sides of the website, or the erotic links. But I just don't trust that website.

It's not exactly downloading it, when you click it the site opens up WMP instantly and starts playing. Not that I'm trying to convince you. Maybe I should've looked more closely at the website before opening the link....

Anyway, the video's pretty cool, I loved the night shots of the stream of bullets, and the desert shots from the helicopter really show you how powerful that thing is. I would definitely trade the side seat of the Wathog for that gun and aerial movement, even if it looks like the helicopter would be a bigger target.

Can't wait to hear from those weapon-experts though!

Wrong, actually. When you click it and WMP shows up, what your computer is doing is downloading the video into your browser's cache, but playing it WHILE it's downloading. And because you're downloading something, it has the potential to carry malware/spyware or just an all out virus with it.

The trick is this: Never download from shady sites.

Eh, it should be fine. Those things are pretty uncommon, admittedly (though I still play it safe most of the time).

Good to know I was somewhat helpful...

Apologies to all who have worries here... I found it thru a link at a different forum and I didn't get any virus alerts from it. As for the -blam!-... All i'd get are dating banners, which in my experience are all over the place on the net even at non"shady" sites.... so either there's a selective blocker on my computeror there are much more date ads and I was just lucky.

So very sincere apologies again... if someone has a link to a more "official" site with that same video please share, and this one will correct the linky. For everyone who did not download the video for wise purposes it's a decently long montage of chaingun in action video clips.... and it is interesting to see theaccuracy of the guns compared to the accuracy of the wart hog gun.

Must of the bullet error was caused by gunner movement rather than inherent spread... which is pretty much the reverse in halo.

That's an understatement... man it's interesting to note that the most damaging part it gets on a vehicle is the fuel tank... which explodes. would love to test that thing..

I never said it has a virus/spyware, I was just being safe. The site looked a tad shady...

For Internet Explorer, go to Tools menu, Internet Options, General tab, and hit the Delete Temporary Files button. That clears out the IE cache. From here, you can also delete cookies, history, clear entered forms and passwords, etc.

For Firefox, go to Tools, Options, Privacy tab, then hit the Clear All Information button. This clears everything, history, saved passwords, cookies, cahce, the works.

I don't know if this blocks the website's ability to give you viruses, but here is a direct link that'll pull the video up in WMP.
