I understand nothing because my life is a conspiracy.

Sometimes I think how Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, and Halo 3 were genius with there plots, and I always wonder, "Why didn't Halo 3: ODST and Halo: Reach live up to this." Even though those were great games, something just didn't click emotionally. The weapons, the vehicles, the gameplay, the enemies, everything that was Halo were in those games. But what made Halo was not. The characters and the plot of the trilogy were just so original and beautiful it is just overwhelming thinking about it. And then you think, "What could have made those two games have that same feeling? Was it Master Chief, Cortana, Sgt. Johnson, and the rest? Was it the the Battle Rifle it Duel Wielding?" But when you think about it, it was actually a character that you overlooked: Halo. Halo is what started the series. Halo is what ended the series. Halo is what the series is even called! Just fighting on that foreign land of strange technology and a wide variety of environments is what made the trilogy so powerful. But you know you will never get that feeling back from those games. Nothing can compare to what it made you feel. And when you think that 343 will save the series or bring back that feeling, you're wrong. Halo 3: ODST and Halo: Reach were just missing one key element: Halo. But the new trilogy will be missing two: The Covenant and Bungie. And you know this is true because when you think of Halo you think of Bungie since they made it. You think of Master Chief fighting The Covenant, an unknown alien species, on Halo, an unknown world. Nothing can compare to that. Our last feeling of Halo will probably die with Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, since it has all of the factors, unless a Halo 2 Anniversary is made. But a new feeling might start with Bungie's new series and no, it will not be what you felt with Halo, but it will be something new. Something original. Something that will make you feel what you felt again. And also, before I stop, don't hate on Bungie by saying things like, "Halo 3: ODST and Halo: Reach were horrible. Bungie, you suck!" You have to understand that not all of the key elements will be their since the story has been told. So be kind to Bungie since they brought you that feeling. If you want to feel that feeling again, listen to Never Forget and you will understand what I am talking about.

Yeah, I kind of wandered off topic in the post, but it wasn't the game, it was the feeling.
