Subject: Group Error?

Dividing by zero since 1993.

I am a member of 23 groups. When I tried to join another group, it said that the max number of groups you can join is 25, and that I am automatically declined from joining the group because I am already a member of 25 groups.

Obviously, I am only in 23 groups.

Anybody have this same error or know a fix?

There is no fix.

The reason for this is when you request to join a group that is closed, and you haven't been accepted into the group, it'll count as a group that you're in and there's nothing you can do about it.

If you join a group that requires authorization to join, and you aren't accepted, yet not declined, then it counts as a group you are in. I have the same problem. I can only join 24.

Ah, didn't think about that, thanks.

So I just have to wait until they accept or decline then.

Now, in the quantum moment before the closure, when all become one. One moment left. One point of space and time.

I know who you are.

You are Destiny.

It's not an error. If you joined a "membership requires approval" group, and you were neither accepted or rejected, you're still in the group queue; meaning that spot is taken. Until an admin figures out what to do with you you're going to have to wait (that's why you don't join dead groups).

Except usually those groups are dead, or the moderators are absent.
