How should one live their life? What would one do to live life to the fullest? If you died right now, would you be disappointed that you didn’t have enough fun? Or achieve enough? What is more important- character and hard work or luck? What are your theories on love? Is honesty the best approach to life? What are friends for? Entertainment? Support? Connections for personal furtherment? Why are we here?
Feel free to answer any of my questions or propose some of your own.

How should one live their life?

There is no answer. No one should live their life any one way.

What would one do to live life to the fullest?

Appreciate every moment, and practice constant awareness. You also must be slightly hedonistic.

If you died right now, would you be disappointed that you didn’t have enough fun?

No. I would be dead. I wouldn't care.

Or achieve enough?

Same as above.

What is more important- character and hard work or luck?

Neither are more important, since you haven't stated what they are more important for.

What are your theories on love?

I believe it is merely a strong form of attraction and affection.
I also believe marriage to be unnatural. When love ends so should the relationship. Staying with a person after the love has died off is purposeless and painful. If we were more communal we'd be able to get rid of families and raise children as a whole, collectively and as a community.

Is honesty the best approach to life?

No opinion.

What are friends for?

They are people you know that you feel a sort of bond for. They don't have a purpose.

Entertainment?

Entertainment is basically what our conscious life is. It's us trying to entertain ourselves one way or another.

Support? Connections for personal furtherment? Why are we here?

We are here through naturalistic processes.

1. to the fullest
2. anything
3. If I'm dead, I'll be in heaven having fun, so I wouldn't give a damn. If I went to hell, yes, I would be disappointed.
4. luck
5. Love is expensive
6. "is honestly the best approach to life." What?
7. Friends are here so the people don't get bored. They're fun to do things with.
8. T.V. or watching someone hurt themselves is now the best form of entertainment to most people today.
9. "connections for personal furtherment" don't know.
10. We are here to live, populate, and then die for the next major species.

1. to the fullest

Is this by fun? I personally living life to the fullest is having a sense of achievement rather than by having many periods of high seratonin levels.

5. Love is expensive

Chances are you've never loved- if it is indeed true love, money is of little consequence.

And I found Obbi's thoughts on marriage to be very true.

Who here has really experienced love?

Not I. I haven't even had a crush before. I mean, I love myself, but I doubt that counts.

That sounds rather hedonistic.

Life is pointless, we'll all be dead in 100 years, so it won't matter.

Love has totally changed who I am...

When people would talk about teens searching for their inner selves, I thought that was crap. I was like, I know exactly who I am.
But love has helped me see that its much more complex than that. Being yourself isn’t always easy. You have to find who you are- and I think love is one of the few ways to do that. I’m not saying Ive reached self actualization, but I’ve unified my multi-faceted personality. I’ve found true homeostasis- I can relax, whereas I was uptight. I’ve found a legitimate reason for living.
Unfortunately, love isn’t something you can just find by looking for it. Fate and luck have to be smiling upon you.

lol, no, thats how I talk. It gets very confusing when i use a thesaurus. It sort of makes up for my hatred for math and science.

He must be in therapy if he talks like that. Week three, right?

You obviously do not know when someone is being sarcastic or not do you... Here, let me make it easier to understand. From now on, I will put [/sarcastic] when ever I am being sarcastic. My feelings about love really is that most people believe that love comes from going out with (marrying, or whatever else) some really "hot" person. I'm not saying go for the ugliest person, but I'd rather go out with someone who looks average and is nice and fun to talk to, then some -blam!- who doesn't give a damn about you.

Luckily for me- my girl friend is not only awesome as a person- but shes hot too!

And on the topic of attractiveness- what does everyone think about superficiality? I think it drives todays youth.

If attractiveness determined success, I would be freaking Bill Gates.

Well, i unfortuantly don't have a gf yet, but in terms of attractiveness, red hair, or black. Not large breasts, she should actually have a figure not be a stick. Somewhat metalhead/rivethead looking. Though looks come before personailty and personal likes(music, ideals, etc.)

I've had 2. One for 3 months and one for like a week, but my friends say she's (lets just say sick) it was nice having a nice girl to talk to though. It's different then having a regular friend.

Hell, If I found a hot girl who loved video games, my life would be made!
