Subject: Queston(s) about the HUD...

My Grandfather was a Desert Ranger, my Father was a Veteran Ranger in the NCR. My father was killed by Caesar's Legion and they took my Brother. It's now my responsibility to uphold the mantle of the Rangers and avenge my Father and find my Brother.

I have a few, more like one, question about the HUD. Is the aiming reticule fixed in that position...because you always are looking and pointing your gun straight at it, what if you look towards the center and point the gun to the side? Would the aiming reticule move? And is the HUD displayed on their retinas?

From what I imagine the HUD reticle would move around in real life. Halo, being a FPS, will always be in a fixed position.
Pointing the gun to the side would then cause the reticule to go off the HUD (depending on how far you point it).
The HUD is displayed on the actual visor I think because in various books they could, for example, look at the map and it would grow larger. Thus the HUD would not be displayed in their retinas because it would just follow the eyes instead. Plus that would mean that the device projecting the image of the HUD would have to be able to move in all degrees to follow their eye.
Hope this helps.

It gives UNSC troops a huge advantage,it's better then the modern day methode, iron sight.Iron sights aren't that accurate like a targeting reticule, not to mention that you focus your eye on one small spot and not the surroundings.

Do you know what kind of hat I'm wearing?

A party hat; you don't get one. An honor will this party be, a party in your honor, for your honor. Some of Tfear's personal guards are going to be there. You'll be introduced shortly.

Prepare to die.

This clip seems to indicate that the reticule is not fixed.

Actually if you look at about 0:45 it just shows his head moving and the reticule is still fixed. But I'm sure they did that just to make it more like the game, plus you're obviously are going to be looking where you are firing.
