Let's say you're one of the few who gets the limited edition of Myth in your Swag Bag. (If you didn't get a Swag Bag, let's just say you got one for the sake of this thread). Would you open Myth or leave it in mint condition?

As for me, I'd probably leave it mint. I think it would be a valuable collector's item later on.

HACK THE PLANET!

Keep it mint in the box.

All it took was a stew of whoopass.

Keep it closed until I either get a better computer or sell it.

If not sure, I don't think I'd play it, but equally I don't think I'd sell it.

I'm pretty sure you'd be able to run it, considering the game is from 1997.

QFT; It's a little dated at this point, I feel like I could get frustrated playing it. But it would be just so cool I would never sell it, so preserving it's mint value isn't that important.

Yes because I would really like to play myth, and leaving it mint doesn't mean anything to me because I know I would never sell it.

ALL HAIL GABEN

Well, I would want to play Myth, but if I can get some good money off of it, i'll be selling it.

Do you like Yax? I do.

If I had gotten it, I would have never opened it.

Um.....Red name tag??

I think the box is already opened but the game is not. Anyway I would keep it and never sell it.

No, I would keep it mint and put it in a case with all my other limited edition items.
But what's the chances of me getting one anyway lol

  • 07.01.2011 2:31 PM PDT

Absolutely I'd open it. I wouldn't try to get a copy just to re-sell it or hide it in a closet. I'd open it up and check out all of the different items inside.

May 11 will be known as Halo 2 Day for me from now on.

Well Ive been in the Navy since June 25, 2009 and its a fun job right now.

It would be tough but I dont think I would open it...

Make choices, and don't look back.

I'd leave it mint as well ^_^

  • 07.01.2011 2:54 PM PDT

  • 07.01.2011 2:55 PM PDT

A7x FoREVer!

I'd probably keep it in the packaging.

I highly doubt the actual wooden box is 'sealed', I'm sure the cover can be taken on/off. If this was the case I'd open it, check out the cool stuff inside, take pictures for the folks at FCAW and then put back everything that needn't see the world.

I wouldn't open the actual game 'cause I already have it. Assuming the tshirt fits, i'd definitely wear it.

I achieved my Recon armor through the screenshot contest Team Control, not Bungie Day or ODST. 5/29/09
No, Luke! Noo!
64th last player to play Halo 2 online.

I would only take a look inside if the box was not sealed shut. Other then that, I'd like to keep it mint.

Case and point: don't worry about it. Girls start getting boobies pretty soon, and then you'll have plenty of other things to think about. Being an Inheritor is not a life goal.

Nope, I'd wait about 3 more years when some of the ones that the D-bags got are sold, then take it to Gold & Silver Pawn Shop in Vegas and sell it for One Trillion Dollars.

  • 07.01.2011 3:04 PM PDT

I would certainly leave it alone. After having it pounded into my thick skull that rare items are higher in value the better the condition is, I would easily leave it and not think twice.

  • 07.01.2011 3:06 PM PDT

IIIIIII

I probably wouldn't. I would want to keep it the best condition possible.

  • 07.01.2011 3:08 PM PDT

Hi I'm RT and I like to argue!

I honestly have no idea. If I kept it, I would probably leave it sealed up--if I want to play Myth, I'm sure there are other ways to get a playable copy. On the other hand, there are probably people out there who would appreciate it more, maybe I'd sell it (inb4rage)?

Unsure.
