Halo: Reach.
To summarize, I didn't feel like a god. I felt like a wimp. Or to more specific, a prophet sitting on an op gravity throne. I had to resort to cheap methods (i.e. camping with plasma pistol, long distance plasma pistol). LNoS had promise though. It felt like Halo at times. I would charge in and sometimes assassinate the entire group of Covies.
Halo 1's weapons were all effective on Legendary whereas in Halo: Reach, you need to have the DMR and any one of these on your person:
-plasma rifle (I love all plasma rifles :3)
-plasma pistol
-sniper rifle
-rocket launcher
-other power weapons
In Halo 3, most weapons were effective on Legendary. It's when you step it up a notch and turn on Mythic and/or Tilt that it suffers the common problem.
Halo 3's legendary was like Halo 1's while Halo: Reach's legendary was more like Halo 2's (except 2x more frustrating) and/or Halo 3's Mythic, except incomplete (some skulls on i.e. Mythic).
Extensive reasons will come later.
Here's a sample:
Halo 3 had smarter Brutes.
In Halo: Reach I can easily sneak up on and assassinate enemies since as far as I know, they don't notice *recently* dead bodies, even if it comes in contact with one.
But in Halo 3, if I sneak up on some Brutes and the dead body comes in contact or in front of one, he (and other nearby Brutes) will immediately turn around.
