We are all going to get banned aren't we?

I don't even know where to start with them.

-what is their purpose?

-why haven't we seen more of them?

- what prophet controls them

-how unorthodox are they?

-what is up with the gear?

Seriously these elites are a totally different type they were aware of the visual capability's of SIIIs and seem to be a direct counterpart to them; They played with jonah taking him out with no effort whatsoever, i really want to know who created them and what they have been doing the whole war.

To be honest, when I first saw all this in the weekly update I thought 2 things.
#1- there is an actual legendary ending but,
#2- No matter what anyone does,(kill all the bobs, hit all switches etc) that until the "time" mentioned in "There'll be another time..." is reached there won't be a legendary ending.

The weekly update by bungie has slowed my hardcore search for what unlocks the legendary ending.

not to mention that elite minors are holding energy swords, something that is not allowed by Sangheili law. they have to be a Aristocrat to wield them.
but yeah. minors are not allowed to wield energy swords.

It happened several times that we see minors wielding swords.

Back on topic.

No idea,i think it's heretical to use Human tech, yet those Elites knew about the spartan tech which means they had to research it.

Maybe they are part of their own group not controlled by the Prophets.

BTW they looked -blam!- badass in that motion comic.

Truth was the one that set up rubble without the others knowing of it, so could he be the one doing this also?

And i agree, big time

Possible, but he also planned to give the Brutes full power and -blam!- up the Elites. These headhunter elites would become a huge problem for Truth and his Brutes unless Truth secretely executed them before the civil war.

I think it's either Truth as you said or a secret Sangheili group operating alone.

Good point, so it isn't truth then.

What about mercy or regret? and i think there is a small chance this could be an extremist elite faction or the actual elite military.

Yea,at least Regret has great relations with the Elites.

Who knows he suspected Truths idea and wanted to prepare the Elites for it,or i'm just rambling ;)

Your second point too is valid,Elites have the potential to become powerful with the Covies. Those prophets do nothing but failed attempts to copy FR tech,at least the Elites became spacefaring before the covies without the use of FR tech.

By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.

I think they may be the Ossoonas, there are few Sangheili who use active camouflage because they consider it to be cowardly.

Ah, true. I believe they were briefly mentioned in The Flood?

It seems these Elites must be some kind of Spec-Ops branch.

1.I think that the Prophet Of Regret had something to do with them, considering he really liked elites.

2.I personally like to think that they had something to do with the SMAC generators falling on reach

3. Didn't there gear have a camouflage like a chameleon and also the lightbending technology? I think thats what it said in Evolutions.

Also they knew about the Headhunters gear because they had previously fought and killed the other headhunter team or other of those special elites told them about it.

I don't like that series so much because it just seems so stupid like the anime thing.

I mean the way he's so cocky and everything's a playground and all that -blam!-. They're supposed to be high ranked military soldiers.

Another thing confusing about them was the red energy swords. Why are they red? This distinction could definitely imply they are of a splinter group since splinter groups like to differentiate themselves from others.

You realise it was originally a short story from a book?

Spartan III kids love these kind of things, just look at Emile,he is just the same as Jonah.

In ghosts of onyx, teammates usually get into fight with eachother.

It's like the Ork's from LoTR 3. It annoy's me, like take the new Flashpoint red river game, it's a Mil-Sim game supposed to be like how it is down there in afghanistan, and they make the character seem unreal cocky and all that -blam!-.

Because he's probably done missions like that multiple times, he's also clinically insane.
