@Anton

Lol. Granted, Rtas is old enough to have several kids old enough to be kicking ass at that time ;) (before any one askes how the heck I know how old he is...look in the new Halo Visual Guide.)

The Atlas Book or the Great Journey Book?

Neither. Halo: The Essential Visual Guide (was just released this week). Rtas (though he is just listed as 'shipmaster' with his full name under that on the actual page) is on pg 175. We have an official height for him now too.

Ahh, sorry. I was meaning the Essential visual guide when I said Atlas. I'm not entirely sure where I got that terminology from. Is it more than the rather poverty stricken passage we got in the Halo Encyclopaedia for him?

>.>

<.<

Can I haz spoilers?

Can I haz cheesespoilers on Brutes and Elites as well mate? I can't find this boook anywhere! Much appercaited.

Hehe, for a fellow Rtas fan, sure. ;)

Birthdate: Sept 21, 2487 (I am assuming this is coverted from whatever calender system the Sangheili use)
Height: 7'11"

Both his entry and the entry for the Shadow of Intent also implies that he and his supporters didn't just take back a cruiser, but a whole damn fleet.

That's really the only 'new' info on him.

Wait dosen't that make Thel even taller than before it he's 7'11"?

Thel was revealed to be 7'10" in the Halo Encyclopedia: the visual guide still has him at this height. The 7'11" height is for Rtas 'Vadum, aka Half-Jaw.

Oh, they changed the average height of the Elites again, only this time they gave an average height range of between 7'4" - 8'6".

As for Brutes, I cannot tell what is new with them in the book as I don't give a lick about Brutes, so I don't keep up with lore on them.

For those that are trying to find the book: I got mine off of Amazon.com.

On-topic: I speculate that the Elites in Headhunters are a highly specialized/trained group from the SpecOps devision, likely put together to specifically hunt the 'demons' (Spartans). As for who authorized their founding/leads them, I have no idea. Just have to wait and see if 343 decides to do anything more with them.

It is comical the amount of times it has changed. This is the fourth time now. Still, I think this is the best attempt yet. It takes into consideration both the CE figure, Encyclopaedia figure and the games with most characters fitting into it. If only the 4" was a 2" then the Bestiarium would fit in also.

So now an elite can be tall as a brute?

next brutes will be from 8- 10 feet tall

hunters from 14- 16 feet tall

forerunners from 14-16 feet tall.

Well, Humans are on average between 5 and 6 feet tall. Yet some Humans can be as tall as an Elite.

Thanks a bunch bro. I'm really happy to see 8'6" down as an Elite height again. It's really strange to find no Brute info, I would like to see their wieght sorted out into something more believable and this 8'5" myth. Maybe the same goes for them 8'5" - 9'?

I agree. I just see it as go with whatever one you see fit as now. Maybe the 7'4" to 8'6" thing is just a matter of them hunched for a fight, the same with Brutes with 8'5" to 9'. Though this would then mean that Thel should be 9' or something being tall for an Elite.
