You MUST read everything from page 1 to 8.

Halo 2 for Life!

halo 2 had more skill as it was way faster.

to control a button combo was difficult and things like superbounces were not easy to pull i.e. in succession.

Halo 1 was probably one of the easiest with the one weapon system called the pistol system lol.

Na H2 took a very large amount of skill to play and with the lag and no scopes from distance stickies all the time it was just an amazing experience that halo ce couldn't offer.

Halo 3

You didn't read 7 pages of the text in under 5 minutes!

However, I do not agree that glitches can be integrated into the skillbase.

Halo 3

Well sometimes things can be better understood when there's input from more than one person (per side of the argument).

This is a Reach account that I created the day they announced his name in a bnet weekly update. Any stats regarding ODST or Halo 3 are irrelevant. Also, Halo CE master race. Halo 1 > other halo games > other games.

Account Status: Silver :(

I haven't read all 8 pages yet, but speaking from my personal experience, I can say that competitively the only game(s) that took skill in the halo franchise was halo ce and maybe halo 3 on lan only.

If button combos enter in as skill, you have to also compare Halo 3's ghost jumping tactics. They are far harder to pull off, and there were a lot more of them then there are halo 2 button glitches. There were dozen while halo 2 had only about 10 combos that only continued to expose the overpowered BR and broken gun balance.

Arrogant hyperbolic exclamations of woe? Seems like a normal day for Halo/Bungie.net.

Games I like:,
Half-Minute Hero
MBU
Portal
Halo 3 is the best Halo ever
Maps I like: Turf, Avalanche, Pylon, Sandbox, Breakpoint and many more.

Halo 2's Br was Anti-Infanrty. It took skill to use, and even more to deal with someone else usin git.

The pistol in Halo CE was Anti-Everything. Very large clip, super strong rounds, what more could it have? On Halo PC, many mod it to have Insta-kill, Auto-aim, and unlimited clip (Or quicker firing rate).

Halo 2 hands-down wins. It was a place for a strong community to have an intelligent discussion, and the birthplace of Xbox Live. It even was the anscestor of fireifhgt, Delta Halo Courtyard much?

In Halo CE you would run around with your pistol doing whatever the hell you wanted. In Halo 2, teams would make a plan. Blodd Gulch CTF < Coagulation CTf. Halo Ce, no one cared about anything but themselves. Halo 2, you would take that extra sniper round to weaken an enemies shields so a teamate could survive, rather than get your own kill.

Halo 2 will always be the best. Halo 3 is a close second, then maybe ODST or Wars.
