Don't -blam!- with Kerser!

I was looking through the Bestiarum on Halo Waypoint (On 360) in the "Enemies" section and came across a name i was unfamiliar with called "Caveat". The description was some weird piece of writing but i forgot.

Maybe new enemy in Halo 4?

EDIT: BTW i have read all of the books, except Cryptum.

EDIT 2: This is what the description of caveat says.

The following information has been gleaned from a variety of sources, impartial and otherwise. Records retrieved from alien systems cannot be verified except by cross-reference against our own records. The significant system-wide lull in record-keeping for many of these species invalidates much of the provable veracity of this information. The following document is as accurate as possible under difficult circumstances but should be treated as an incomplete investigation only.

Investigation Status: ON GOING.

Information origins include:

UNSECURED ALIEN COMPUTER ARCHIVES (SUSPECT)
RECORDED OBSERVATIONS (VARIABLE)
TRANSLATED COMMUNICATIONS (VARIABLE)
INTERLOPED SYSTEMS (SUSPECT)
OWN ARCHIVAL EVIDENCE (ACCURATE)
COMMUNICATIONS FROM ARRAY INSTALLATIONS (CLEAR)
COMMUNICATIONS FROM SHIELDS (CLEAR)
ASSUMPTIONS FROM MONITOR 343 GUILTY SPARK (UNDER INVESTIGATION)
ASSUMPTIONS FROM MONITOR 2401 PENITENT TANGENT (CLEAR)

i think it is just explaining whats in the enemies section contains and is not an actual alien.

Is it 'caveat'? Yeah, I saw that in the Bestiarum. I looked it up on Google and it means 'beware' in latin.

That's six of one and half a dozen of the other. Its safe to assume that either translation is correct.

On another note, speculations? Some form of native creature to the planet or a more intelligent species? I'd say it sounds almost animalistic, if it's name means "beware" then to me that insinuates the Forerunners found these creatures to be dangerous and labelled them with an appropriate name to avoid any confrontation.

How did I escape? With difficulty. How did I plan this moment? With pleasure.

Well, considering in Latin it means beware, and it is one of the enemies first showed maybe, I am thinking it would be a major enemy.

I am ashamed that this is actually spreading.

This is a preface to the Bestiarium highlighting some of the issues concerning the validity and stability of some of the sources used by the Bestiarium. Nothing more.
