itshould be the same specs as an XBOX you guys are over estimating the game..........

Nah, the xbox runs with...

733 mhz pent III
64mb
32 mb graphics card

But it's a console, so it doesnt have to worry about background tasks or other crap a pc has to deal with, all it does is pump out as much gaming goodness as it can. You couldn't even run XP on an xbox, never mind Vista.

If anyone says it will require what the xbox used, they will be completly wrong.

An xbox is streamlined for gaming. An xbox displays at a low resolution (cant remember exactly what it is). An xbox doesnt have windows in the background. An xbox has those nasty streaming textures. An xbox was pushed to the limits with halo 2.

A pc does have windows. A pc does display at higher resolutions. A pc isnt streamlined for gaming. It may or maynot have those streaming textures, but if it does, it will not be as noticable because a pc is faster.

Is it running on vista? You said it yourself. Higher resolutions are taxing on the gpu. If you have a better gpu, is it still xbox specs?

It runs smoothly because its a console. A pc isnt like a console. It has other things running in the background, and has no standerds like the xbox. It doesnt matter if vista is a marketing ploy or not, it requires better specs because a pc isn't a console.

No, no no, that is different, you know how much they fine tuned and worked on the game coding to make it work with great graphics and a solid framrate like halo, besides we have dx10 to worry about, horrible porting to the pc, and upon that many other stuff as a console is totally 100 percent decided to gaming hardware and software wise. PCs aren't so there are huge differents and much higher required systems specs.

A 2 year old 3 ghz chip of AMD, impossible, the only way that could be if AMD made a semi mini mini mini super computer back then and sold it.

Insofar as I know, AMD doesn't produce any CPU's yet with a clock speed over 2.8 GHZ.

With AMD the number moniker in its name is really the kind of equivalence you should expect shoud you have an Intel processor.

i.e. AMD 3000+ @1.8GHZ = Intel Pentium IV @ 3.0GHZ

the highest amd is 2.8ghz unless you overclocked you cpu. the dual cores could sort of be considered higher than that, but dual cores dont really affect gaming unless your running a program behind it. just to clarify that: Games are single process programs--->Dual cores arent much help
