When in the course of floodian events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the floodian bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the Bungie.net forums, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of the Forums and of Nature's Achronos entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the Nukeation.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all forum go-ers are created equal, that they are endowed by their Achronos with certain inalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of the Flood.

That to secure these rights, Forum Rules are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the Floodians. That whenever any form of Achronos becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the Floodians to alter or abolish it, and to institute new Achronos, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and The Flood.

Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Achronos long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shown, that Floodiankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils (septagon) are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forums to which they are accustomed.

But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Achronos, and to provide new guards for their future security of the Flood.

It'll be like having a Certain Affinity forum, I mean sure Halo should still be discussed here but with Bungie no longer working on it, it shouldn't really be the main focus, it's just not relevant enough anymore to deserve several forums.

Because there are like 6 of them. And his point wasn't that there is a group, but that are groups, meaning that removing The Flood wouldn't remove the bad apples.

I'm going to try and explain this because it is complicated.

With each new game that Bungie releases, a new group of members joins the site, and thus a new group emigrates to The Flood. Each new group that comes in, often displaces an older group.

That older population then retreats into their group, which was formed when they were popular, by the most popular members. Then they leave and move on. In this way, there is a rotation of members and of majority groups which would be considered "the group" of The Flood. In no case is every Floodian a member of these groups, and there are often smaller ones.

Nonetheless, there is always one group that has a large amount of Flood regulars in it, and in this way there is one group that represents the majority of the largest current Flood population.

Oh yeah I get that, I was just going under the assumption that most of the groups didn't have a lot of people in them, that a large portion of the flood wasn't in any of those groups and they were just "Things".

Like for instance if I made a new flood group right now and posted a thread about it in the flood it probably wouldn't get many members before the thread got buried, I was going under the assumption that all flood Groups/"Off-site floods" would go like that.

I mean I visited a imageboard or two that was advertised on the flood and it died out within the same week the thread about it was created.

Hell no you wouldn't get many members. You're hardly popular, and after this thread. More members would join to be hostile than to have enjoyable discussion with you. Not all members are equal, and the greater the member the greater the chance of a group succeeding in the long term.

Put nuking The Flood on hold, and go learn more about it.

I was using "Me" as a ... hmmm ... a "placeholder"(?), assuming any random member made the thread I'd expect the same result.

What is there to learn? It's like the Reach forum without a topic and generally more hostile to outside sources, probably due to it's off-topic nature.
