I cannot tell whether that is an insult or a complement. Frankly I don't care, I'm only here to make a point.

Me neither, anywho, did I not give a "without a doubt" example of them attacking another website within the year earlier within this thread? Aren't actions like that "bad"?

Not to mention I've been there, it's basically the Reach forum without a topic, or you could call it a "Wishes it was /b/ but isn't" forum, oh the flood imageboards that were made to mimic /b/ ...

I don't like rap.

Remove the Flood, and you will lose a significant portion of your site traffic to the mains. If it weren't for private groups and the flood got nuked, I would stop coming to Bungie.net, and so will a lot of people. Secondly, you would have awakened a beast you wish you didn't. Not to sound like an idiot, but there would be a huge uproar, and nothing good will become of it. As for our 'sub-culture', whats not to take pride about? We love who we are, and thats what makes us great

Also, whether you like it or not, The Flood is probably the most popular, most visited, and best forum on the site.

1. The Flood does not "organize" attacks on other forums. If attacks to unfold, they are enacted by individuals such as the famed John Cena Troll.

2. The Flood is an Off-Topic Forum, what do you expect?

3. Why do you feel the need to post this. How is The Flood harming you in any way that you feel the need to write this all up and potentially piss off a lot of Flood Forum-goers. (such as myself)

4. You, or whoever that quote is from in the OP, claims we have a sense of pride for frequenting the Flood. Is there a problem with that? Again, does it harm you in any way?

Leave the Flood be. There's alot of history there. If you don't agree with it's content or what's going on within, simply stay away.

Dear bungie community OP,

How would you guys feel about nuking the Community Forum?

I don't know why the fact that this post is in the Bungie Community forum needs to be emphasised, the only reason it's here at all is because this is the most appropriate forum for this topic, at first I was thinking of posting this in the flood but then decided that here is a more appropriate place.

LOL, someone wanted a hot topic?

Not really, actually I was expecting this thread to just sink into obsqurity.
Posted by: Statefarm98
You know what people respond to threads about attacking other forums?

"The flood Is not your personal Army"
"No"
"Troll"

Your theory about us having organized attacks was never true, that has never happened.

Actually the last "without a doubt" organised attack actually happened sometime this year.

(Read a little into the thread, the flood DDoS'd the site just by trying to spam it so much, then the spamming got so bad the admin pinned a topic saying "Bungie.net users are not welcome.")

What you call a "troll" is detected right away, you can't get away with anything. We even rate people (like 1/10) on how well you fell for it.

Wouldn't rating a troll not only be feeding it but bumping up the thread and encouraging such behaviour?

Sometimes its good and people fall for it. And usually it only gets like 10 to 15 replies at most. Anyone really stupid threads get zero replies.

Also to the attack thing, but half the people on the thread were joking about doing it. The thread even got reported by members(which is why the drop down is there, when the post is reported to much that happens). The people who did do it spammed the crap out of the site. We have no control over idiots. Even if we do these so called "attacks" I lol at it being organized. Might seem like it but the flood is not organized.

And you should go to the flood once in a while. Unless you go there a lot theres no point in listening to this........you don't know what the real flood is like(basically your posting all the idiotic threads and the bad)

I think the WHOLE flood forum needs a complete reform, I think posters who post useless posts like "Cool story bro" or "umad bro?" should be banned for 30 days.

I think the Flood should have its own set of rules and moderators to help out.

Its become to much like /b/ and that image board is beyond retarded.

The best option is a 'laisse-faire' approach to the board. Leave us alone and stop caring.

Idiots, you realise if you nuked the Flood this forum would become a troll fest.

We would never give up, besides there is no reason to nuke the Flood. If you don't like the forum don't go to it.

This kind of attitude isn't helping.

It kinda does because it is the harsh truth. you shut down the flood then they have nowhere to go, seriously; we can't even talk about stuff in the universe forum because they are pouring out there.

You guys are next.

No. If The Flood were shut down, nothing would happen. Some kids would kick up a bit of a fuss in the Septagon for a week and then move on to 4chan, and that's about it.

As it is, there's no reason for The Flood to be shut down. The only legitimate reason provided by the OP was the spamming of that video-game-aholics help site, and that was dealt with at the time by the web team. If The Flood were being shut down because of it, it would've been shut down then. People need to stop giving validity to the OP's claims with silly, useless threats.
