Make choices, and don't look back.

If you check the Bungie day playlist you will notice Anchor 9 and Tempest in the lineup.

Now a twitter quote said:
You will NOT need DLC to play in Bungie vs. the World.

So do you think that the Noble Map Pack will be free on the 7th? Or will players w/o the map pack have an even smaller chance of playing against Bungie employees on Bungie day?

PEANUT-BUTTER SLAP!

You don't need it, but that doesn't mean they won't be there.

It could just be that those maps are used, but you don't need them to play. Basically it may be like playing any playlist that uses DLC but doesn't require them. Then again, maybe Bungie will release the map packs.

READ IT.

I won the Star. With this on Week 18.

Actually, both map packs are in standard matchmaking already... I played Invasion on Breakpoint once in the Invasion playlist... Rarely happens, but it does happen.

They are not required, but they are in matchmaking already.

OH AND, Bungie would not have any kind of say on the pricing of Map Packs... So yeah...

Noble Map Pack is in the playlist, just no required... the coding is different in Reach...

My future is certain, I will one day fly away. All because I am saved from the penalty of sin. I know he lives.

I would imagine that if Bungie had control over the price of the map packs, that they would make it rain for everyone, but sadly the control over that is given to Micro$oft.

If everyone in the matched group has the map pack then you might see thoes maps.

But it would be cool if they could turn the maps on for day/weekend. Sortof like how cable/dish turn on premium channels every once in a while for advertisement. That would be supper sweet.

If I remember correctly, Halo Reach allows a playlist to include DLC without requiring everyone in that playlist to have it. This was implemented to an extent in Halo 3, but improved in Halo: Reach.

I don't think the DLC will be free for the day. Besides, to be perfectly technical... Whether it's free or not, it's still DLC.

I would much rather have 5v5 or 6v6 instead of 4v4. I prefer larger maps, and I hate elite slayer

Be a part of The Intel Agency

H3ITWP is now The WorkPLace

The biggest thing I see wrong w/ the BvW playlist is that Uncaged is in there. Halo is out of their hands after tomorrow. Why are they still trying to push such a poor map on people?

I broke one of the cords for my X11s because I couldn't get past the final American course in Doritos Crash Course.

Yeah if everyone in the lobby has the map pack there's a chance it will appear, if someone doesnt have the maps, it wont be available.

Both Halo 3 and Reach have this feature. How is it different in each game, and how did it improve in Halo: Reach? I don't see a difference between this feature in either game.

No, ExcessiveFaun6 is not my real gamertag.

Miranda: Any idea what it means?
Sgt. Johnson: Dear Humanity... we regret being alien bastards. We regret coming to Earth. And we most definitely regret that the Corps just blew up our raggedy-ass fleet!
Marines: Hoo-rah!

I'm not sure, but I don't think it was implemented in as many playlists in Halo 3 as it has been in Halo: Reach. Maybe that's the "improvement"? Just a guess.

Make choices, and don't look back.

So I understand that required and recommended are two completely different things. Does that mean that players w/o the map pack have a smaller chance of running into employees on Bungie Day?

I suppose it's possible if the Bungie crew at the time hangs out in DLC specific playlists, but my guess is they wouldn't do that.
