Sometimes, I dream about cheese.

Honestly, I think Halo CE takes the most skill, then halo 2, then 3, then reach. They just got easier as they came out.
half agree
HALO C.E's shotgun was the strongest, the shotgun gets worse throughout the series (3's shotgun should have a longer range, faster reloading time and do more damage IMO, but reaches shotgun was even worse then 3) so it was easier to get kills in C.E with the shotgun then any other HALO.
but sniping in HALO C.E was the hardest, the weapons felt slow and heavy when you aim it around so headshots were alot harder to get + the sniper in C.E (you all know this) only does 25 - 33 damage. the sniper in the rest of the series does 99 damage + sniping is easier (especially in 2)so alot more kills in other games.
single wielded, the plasma rifle and needler in 2 take more skill then C.E, but the PP is still the same assuming your firing it rapidly.
against players the rocket launcher in 2 is still balanced with its previous counterpart: it does less damage and the explosion radius is smaller but you aim around faster with it and it reloads faster. against vehicles 2's rocket launcher is obviously superior and takes less skill though.
vehicles in C.E are equal to 2's vehicles as well. their handling is sluggish and heavy in C.E but that doesnt matter since it splatters enemies by simply touching them.
vehicles are faster in 2 and afterwards, particularly covy vehicle which have the boost ability excluding the wraith, they handling is alot easier as well: feels smooth, swift and light when i brake, strafe or stop as opposed to that heavy feeling in C.E but its performance in splattering hasn't improved since it's more realistic, you have to hit the enemy with greater force the lighter your vehicle is, and attempting to spatter them must be timed correctly depending on how good you are at splattering/how good they are at dodging or jacking/ whether they have seen you and how much health they have.
