Why did this need its own thread? The needless, pointless, and constant creation of new threads is the primary driver for "nuke the Flood"-style threads in the first place, and this is a good demonstration.

If some people could learn to hit the "reply" button when they want to participate in an ongoing discussion instead of the "create new topic" button, I'm willing to bet you'd see a noticeable reduction in the complaints about the Flood Forum.
