Just saying.
Now to write a long story of how I say thank you.
Ever since Halo 1 I was looking foward to the next sequels, I used to play it with my brothers non-stop doing this funny thing where we used to ram each other with warthogs in Bloodgulch, it was brilliant. I found Halo 1 very open to roam around across, the maps were huge in singleplayer, I remember in Assult on the Control Room, when I stole a Banshee and flew into the Control Centre, exploring everywhere, and the storyline was sci-fi epic.
But I should be moving on to Halo 2, when the new options were available; Stealing ghosts, double weapons, and... More exploring! I have to say, I am quite an explorer games. I love free-roam expandible areas to Fight against and explore. Halo 2 had this. Getting the Scarab gun was amazing, one of the funniest experiances Bungie has put into Halo, as I remember, shooting the Scarab over and over with it, same with the Soccer Ball and Pelican, they were brilliant. Oh man, I love Halo.
Now lets get to Halo 3, The story was astonishing, I love the twist with some old characters, and the Eliets. The graphics were unique to most games, Crysis still took the lead though, but we're talking about Halo. I still remember fighting on Xbox LIVE doing the Vidmasters, and Taking down Scarabs on Legendery, what an achievement. Forge is brilliant, it was like a dream come true. I could explore most places, and make my own creations for others to explore, I loved it, and don't get me wrong, people loves my maps (Not to brag about that). Recon was a success in greed lol, The real achievement was getting Recon back then before the Vidmasters, though the Vidmasters are great achievements, not for the gamerscore, but for the pride.
Moving on to Halo 3: ODST, Very strange game, though very fun. That had the biggest levels I know right now. Yes, it's bigger then Forge World, but I haven't gotten there yet. Getting the Vidmasters on ODST was hard and challenging, aswell as completing it on Legendery because the experiance was very different, dying alot easier. Though being a marine was very fun, more realistic too! (No. I hate Call of Duty, I'm just talking like... Sci-Fi Realistic.)
But lets Move on! Halo Reach. Man was this an achievement, I didn't like it as much as the other Halo's though, It was changed alot, but the places to explore... The biggest, I've ever seen. Sometimes when glitching out of the map, I could explore for hours; But Forge World... Oh boy, this. This is just... The creation limit was breached with this whole new map, a complete change to all of Halo. Making you're own mini campaign maps with this (Invasion). I found forge world, a dream, a success, and heaven.
But I don't want to make a huge bunch of text for your reading, I probibly have writen enough about my opinion in the Halo Series. But Bungie. My god, I love you guys.
You are one of the best game creators I have ever seen. I love you, and I'll say it again, I love you guys.
Thank you for an experiance that changed my life.
EDIT: You know what we should do? Make them a cake, and send it to them, for the Steak they sent us!
