MC could easily be defeated just to tell you for example in CQC by Fred. Six is definently not a weaker man, he simply has not shown his full potential.

I believe that Six would perform and equally match Master Chief given the same atmosphere.

oh yea and if you knew anything about halo you would spell master chief correctly and actually give a reasonable explanation to your vote instead of a complete biased point of view.

Although I would still go with MC just because in my opinion he's more bad-ass.

Spartan II > Spartan III

Already debated and proven wrong many times.

Anyway, I choose six. Six, in a single game showed personality. Master Chief had the personality of a brick in Halo CE.

In addition, Six isn't overrated and worshiped as a god as Master chief is and shouldn't be. Spartan II's as a whole have become overrated and boring now.

Vengeance only leads to an ongoing cycle of hatred.

Master Chief...by far.

Six doesn't even compare.

Your Noble Six, or the canon? Because my Noble Six could wipe the floor and his ass with Master Chief. Lieutenant David-B312 (mine) has single handedly defeated thirteen SPARTAN-IIs, and dozens of Elite Generals, by himself, before falling because he was racked with the guilt of killing his SPARTAN brothers. My reasoning for this backstory is that... well, the SPARTANS are all dead on the final mission, yet no Covenant bodies. The only one who could've killed them was Noble Six (mine, dunno about yours).

Oh, and to add to that list, has personally assisted in the assassination of a Sangheili Field Marshall who was backed by Zealots (Master Chief killed Regret who was guarded by the much less disciplined Honor Guards), as well as assisted in the destruction of a Covenant Supercarrier, has Master Chief? No. His biggest kill is an Assault Carrier, which is dwarfed by a Supercarrier many times over.

David-B312 >>> John-117

As for canon Noble Six, I'd say Master Chief wins, but against my Noble Six? Hell no.

This concludes my discussion.

For those two reasons I chose Six. We can have Six be whatever we want, and even when we first meet him he has more personality than John has in the trilogy games.

Another thing, since you can equip Six with any armor you please, I am sure with the right equipment, Six could simply overrun Master Chief with his inferior "default" armor with relative ease. I'm not sure, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't GUNGNIR a super-secret ONI program designed to make the ultimate power armor or something like that? Wrong or not, Six has the guns, equipment, and armor to make Master Chief his plaything. Another armor I'm sure would give him an edge is the Grenadier chestpiece (Jorge's armor), the generator (on his chest) would most likely double his shields to that of Chief's, meaning he could keep going long after Master Chief had retreated to lick his wounds.

The Ark was destroyed from the collaborative assistance of Cortana, Johnson, Arbiter, and 343 Guilty Spark, so that is a moot argument. Even the Assault Carrier he destroyed with the assitance of Cortana's "deactivate/reactivate upon touch" feature.

The ark wasn't even destroyed, and only had flood on it when the halo was activated. Damaged? Yes. Destroyed? Not stated.

Well alright then, I stand by my statement that his most impressive kill is the Covenant Assault Carrier, most impressive infantry kill is Prophet of Regret. While Six's is a Supercarrier and Sangheili Field Marshall respectively. And since Sangheili are around 100 times more deadly in combat than a Prophet I would rank a Field Marshall higher on the "deadliest kill list" than a Prophet. The Elite can switch weapons at will and do anything you do, with stronger shields and health and melee damage to boot (and accuracy depending on the player), and as for Regret, you punch him twice and he dies, big whoop.

Well in that case the supercarrier that you said 6 destroyed was with assistance of Jorge (A spartan 2 who actually gave his life destroying the thing), UNSC Marines, UNSC Savvanah and other Longsword Fighters.

The Covenant Super Carrier wasn't taken out solely by the efforts of Six...

Jorge flew the bomb
Kat came up with the plan
Carter got the plan approved

So what did six do?

He, along with (was it four?) other Sabers, fought off the covenant patrols, he then, along with the Marines of the other sabers, and the re-enforcements brought by Jorge, fought his way to the control room, and then back again... before bailing out while Jorge stayed to activate the slipspace engine.

So if the Chief didn't take out the Ark alone, and it's nullified because of that, then Six didn't take out the super carrier alone, and it's nullified because of that. Take off your fanboy glasses and look at -blam!- objectively.

And Spartan II's will at default be better than Spartan III's, because their armors are better, their implants are better (and more risky) they were also grown stronger and faster, where the Spartan III project wanted to create something more akin to the Spartan I project - THOUSANDS of special soldiers. The Spartan II project was from start 'till end, meant to breed the few and the utmost elite of the elite, to take on the worst of the worst, yet come back unscathed.

TL;DR: Six isn't as good as you want him to be...

Agreed, 'Chief's relationship with Cortana allowed for him to show more personality than Six did.

I think the opinion is that Bungie does that with their main characters because the player can then fill like they are the hero. The can more easily project themselves into that role.
