I agree with the original post. I played all day long...morning until well after 2 AM, and not once did we get a chance to play against Bungie. Furthermore, the playlist was the same maps and matchtypes over and over again...what an original, and well thought out playlist! Bored to death trying to win something stupid like a steak that I could just go buy at the supermarket. It was a waste of time that I was quite excited for in the beginning, and burnt out with by midday.

Way to go out...boring and obviously tired of the Halo franchise they created.

Battle is the most magnificent competition in which a human being can indulge. It brings out all that is best; it removes all that is base. All men are afraid in battle. The coward is the one who lets his fear overcome his sense of duty. Duty is the essence of manhood.
-George S. Patton

I never even played Reach on Bungie Day. I didn't even touch my xbox. (No internet connection) But you know what I did? I sat by the pool with my friend and talked about Bungie and the Halo Franchise all day. Its about the community and the people who gave us their time and effort to make the game.

Oh you won't wear blue flames because it's too mainstream now, isn't it?

Damn hipsters

I have to completely disagree with you. How many gaming companies are this involved with their community?

You knew that you had a slight chance playing Bungie in the playlist, but to me it was still exciting just to think I could get a steak.

Yes it was a little dis heartening I couldn't snag a bag, but again that is limited edition and going to charity.

Aerospace I actually did not feel like it was to hyped about. Not interesting to me. Great idea none the less

Bungie Day (weeks) was exciting

Hi I'm RT and I like to argue!

There are many, many more. Bungie may say it interacts with the community, but look at Reach. Has there EVER been a patch? Nope.
Title update = community interaction?

343 will save us

It's pretty selfish to say that bungie day was a disappointment when it is a day of celebration of bungie not us. It's like going to someone else's birthday party and complaining that they didn't give you any presents. It is true that it wasn't as fun as Bungie Day '09, I don't think anything can top it, but you can still appreciate that Bungie gave all they could to the community and to charity.

Now before you start calling me a Bungie D-rider I would like to say that, as far as Aerospace is concerned, Bungie needs to remember how to make GOOD games before they start helping independent developers.

I've said it before, but the sense of entitlement the average B.net user has displayed over the past week is sickening. Even people who have previously represented themselves as dedicated fans have turned out to be far from that. Frankly, such behavior is petty and pointless. Whining about not getting specific things, saying not enough was done, or -blam!-ing ceaselessly about how the swag bags were handled is pretty -blam!- disgusting.

Bungie was telling us "Thanks" for beings fans. If you need to say anything to that, say "You're welcome."
